That left us without a Megabuck daughter to breed to P. Incantation. Luckily, Larry and Natalie Walton of Acme Alpacas purchased a donated breeding to Megabuck for their DSG Sinopsis Nocturna daughter, Oreo. Mystique was the result. Thank you Larry and Natalie for selling this lovely girl to me! "Mysti" is sweet and spunky and placed in the ribbons with a damp fleece at the very competitive AWE 06 (Safley). Before she was shorn, she looked like a black copy of her beautiful grandsire, 4Peruvian Lanark's Locota (who I used to own). I have not seen many true blacks so heavy boned and abundantly woolly and fine-fleeced!!! Mysti has very correct conformation, movement and bite. Her fleece is very fine, silky soft, lustrous and uniform with medium frequency / medium amplitude crimp, minimal guard hair and a very long staple excellent fiber coverage. Mystique and her paternal sister Bon Bon, both make beautiful crias with our Snowmass RRoyal Fox.

Sequoia is very closely related to our reserve Champion female, Carmelina, and they look very much alike. Sequoia is one of the finest and densest females in our herd which was recognized by our shearer as having the greatest volume of fine fleeces of all his clients. It's as soft as warm butter too! Carmelina permanently injured a rear leg early in gestation, but fortunately Nova Rosa made it! When this dam was a newborn, she gained one full pound per day for her first nine days and she milks just the same. Carmelina is very fine and dense with sparse, silvery fibers evenly distributed throughout her entire fleece and she has the classic silver spot on the tip of her tail. Nuance is an award-winning son of Snowmass Nova [(Nova sold for $335k in 06, sire: P. Casanova (Futurity Herdsire of the Year)] who sold for $51k unproven at the 05 Snowmass Making of Champions sale. Top 1% ARI EPD for fleece weight...ranked 101 out of 27776. (We have not yet submitted EPD data.) Brentina has fine, sparse fawn fibers throughout her fleece and we're breeding her for colored offspring. Check out her 2010 fleece stats...well over a five pound blanket, accurately weighed, with a very acceptable histogram at full maturity. Her first cria, a white male, was a two time champion. Top producer. Journie ribboned in every show she was entered. A judge described her fleece as highly advanced for a grey and another commented on her brightness and long staple length. She is healthy with correct conformation, bite and proportions from her nose to her toes as well as a lovely, uniformly fine (low SD) and bright fleece. She has one of the most typey heads you'll find on a gray and a people friendly disposition. Her sire is 7x champion Peruvian Black Epic who is considered to be the best black sires in the country. He's out of a grey dam, yet only 5 of Epic's 89 registered offspring are grey at this writing. Epic is known for his uniformly fine and very dense fleece and his offspring have earned over 50 championships. Epic's fleece statistics: 2000: 20.5/3.3/16.1/1.8 (cria fleece) 2001: 22.8/4.0/17.3/4.2; 4.5 lb. blanket 2003: 5.5 lb. blanket 2005: 15 pounds total! Bloodlines: Snowmass, Patagonia, our herd matriarch and a some crimpy true black Bolilvian. Recommended breeding to Remembrance (included). We've owned many of the alpacas in this female's pedigree. Aria has very good conformation and a huge, overall uniform, crimpy fleece with minimal guard hair...traits inherited from both of her parents. Her fleece has uniform color, brightness, crimp character and length as well as medium crimp that is perfectly aligned. Alpacas with her coloring and genetics are excellent to use for producing blacks and grays. Her RC dam has been bred to gray twice and produced a silver and a rose gray. Her dam hails from Snowmass P. Casanova and P. Andrajo, is an Alpacapalooza Reserve Champion and is from our best female lineage for awards, reproduction (high birth rate - up to 13 crias) and heavy lactation (up to one pound per day gain). Her black sire won a CABA Res. Championship with his cria fleece (tips included!) and a blue ribbon on halter at Alpacapalooza as a full grown adult under judge Wade Gease. His fleece is fine, overall uniform and has lasting aligned crimp at 8 years of age.

Concordia has matured into a stunning hembra...sweet and typey with a very fine, silky-soft and drapey true maroon fleece. She comes from the best lines in our herd. Her TB sire, Casimiro, is a 2009 Reserve Champion (out of 50 blacks) who had a first year histogram of: 18.0 / 3.0 / 16.7. Concordia means harmony and at peace with man and nature. On day one she was straight and correct, has coverage everywhere and reminded me of her grandsire, Constantino, when he was born. I didn't think 'Tino was going to be exceptional until I opened up his fleece when he was four months old and almost fell over. He went on to win blues and purples for five years and has many kids and grandkids with the same color ribbons. Her incredible dam, Monaco, is my ideal hembra in every way...phenotype, temperament, instincts, uniformity, etc. Judge Mike Safley awarded her the blue ribbon as a yearling over Patagonia's Natali who sold for $35,000 at the POC auction. He commented on Monaco's phenotype, uniformity and fleece. Her fleece blossomed slowly, then maintained it's character for years and earned a blue ribbon as an adult. Thank you to Kathy Yeager, Alpaca Adventures - Mount Vernon, WA! The quality here speaks for itself when a sire born in 2002 and a dam born in 2003 produce a female in 2012 who places in the ribbons at competitive shows in 2014 and 2016...cool. She has lots of Sollocota and Alianza blood in her and she is unrelated to Bueno, Guellermo, Hemingway and the Accoyos. She's the essence of femininity with a uniform fleece, royal fineness, well defined crimp, brightness and silky handle. She's related to half of our herd, so for now, she's for sale. She's champion sired out of a top quality Peruvian foundation dam with a top-drawer pedigree. She has a lovely, typey head with huge, dark eyes and spot-on conformation...up on her pasterns, tracks straight, fluid movement, etc. Great disposition, people friendly and smart too. She was on her feet in 15 minutes and she had the whole pasture covered 15 minutes later. She leads the cria races every night. You go girl! I searched long and hard and purchased her dam, Isabelle, especially to breed to Constantino. Fortunately, the plan worked. Their offspring have been described as "gorgeous" and "impressive". Belle Faire's full sister, Lara Belle (see photo), sold at the AOBA auction to Patti Jennings at Willow Bend Alpacas. Her full brother, Flint, won first and Judge's Choice award with his fifth fleece at Alpacapalooza 2012. She's 3/4 related to our Reserve Champion, Casimiro, who has a dense, plush, silky TB fleecce and a histogram of 18.0 afd/ 3.0sd / 16.7cv.

2018 EPDs: Top 25% for 3 traits: AFD, SF and MC. Christina is proving herself to be perhaps our very best production female. Her crias are extremely typey, with excellent density and fineness, high frequency crimp and conformationally correct with even temperaments. At the Alpacapalooza show (April 2011), despite getting the gate, she scored 90.5 out of 100 on a 20-point comprehensive evaluation done in person by AOBA judge Sharon Loner who asked why she didn't get a ribbon. Well, she did earn a blue ribbon for that fleece the next year. In addition, her fleece exhibits evidence of derived secondary fibers as there are fibers in her fleece that look like fine, single fibers, but when they are rubbed apart, two or more fibers are present. Christina has looked like a prize alpaca since she the day she was born and looks even better all grown up. She has tons of blue ribbon winners, as well as champions, in her family tree. Her parents are two of my very best and Christina is their best yet! I have complete confidence in stating that she will be a consist producer of blue ribbon winners and champions. She is unrelated to Accoyo and Snowmass bloodlines...huge potential, IMO. She was born at 17 lb. and 336 days gestation with correct overall structure and excellent health and growth. On her first day, just 336 days from conception...her plush fiber over flowed her eyes and jaw. She is nearly full grown now and she still exhibits a gorgeous text book phenotype along with an exceptional calm temperament, excellent body capacity and substance of bone and condition, correct overall conformation and movement. Her fleece has excellent density, crimp character, uniformity and staple length along with coverage everywhere she has skin and that wonderful next to your skin, buttery, silky soft handle. I've owned many alpacas in her pedigree and besides show winners they are also known for health and soundness and off the charts lactation (newborns gaining one pound per day) and IgGs (3000+).

Recommended breeding to Constantino or Crusader(included). Super adorable and sweet dark indefinite female. She is a compact size with good conformation and is from two gray champion parents! Her fleece is a smokey black color with silver fibers throughout.

Charity is a great candidate to be a surrogate dam as she breeds and births easily and stays in top condition. Charity and her mirror image sister Clarissa produce solids. Clarissa is the dam of RC Casimiro (18.0 / 3.0 / 16.7) who is a true black. 6/28/16: Just like her sister, Clarissa Ann (one of our top producers), Charity produced a lovely LF female cria, "Mercy" with our LF Champion Constantino (5 years of awards). Mercy is related to some of the very best in our herd...Casimiro, a solid TB RC (18.0 m / 3.0 sd), Flint (Judge's Choice w/ 6th fleece), Doenutte, Buttercup, etc. Our offspring with Constantino and Snowmass RRoyal Fox combined are beyond what we hoped for...these lines nick very well every time producing very uniformly fine, non-medullated fleeces on correct frames with beautiful type. The first thing you'll notice about Charity is her truly text book conformation and her huge volume of fleece that is very soft with little to no visible guard hair. From her sire and dam she has a people-friendly personality to boot. We have seen white markings on extremities on other alpacas from the famous P. Misty Maiden line when they are bred to dark and gray sires. Charity has black eyeliner and black markings on her ears. These are the some of the best bloodlines in our herd for fleece quality and yield, correct and balanced conformation, lactation and even temperaments. The Isabelle (Gr. Dam) line has also produced mostly females for us and two of the males are Res. Champ. and Judge's Choice winners. Paternal Brother, Graphite - 1st Futurity 2012! Paternal Sister, Reyna - 1st Alpacapalooza 2012! Charity's family tree contains numerous famous alpacas including: 4P Black Magic (Stachowski's), P. Desert Sun, P. Misty Maiden, P. Bueno, P. Casanova, the incredible Snowmass Royal Bronze (Sold at the 2011 Snowmass auction for $78k.) and his dam Snowmass' P. Rosa Royal. Charity and Mercy are unrelated to Hemingway and all Accoyo bloodlines.

Love this female...excellent producer too. Mar. 2012 Histogram: the highest bars on the graph are 14 - 17 microns...thank you daddy Fox! Very healthy, sound, calm, sweet and energetic with excellent phenotype, correct conformation and movement. Her fleece exhibits amazing density and uniformity (it only lacks a lower SD) which is consistent with her champion and blue ribbon parents of full Peruvian heritage and it exhibits the characteristics of the Columbia sheep type. Her fleece type is not bundled, but just a one continuous solidly closed fleece. (Note: alpacas with this fleece type are at greater risk of heat stress and need to be managed accordingly.) When I part her fleece there is a wavy aligned crimp along the staple, but the individual fibers have a crimp frequency averaging 9 - 10 crimps per inch and the primaries are also very nicely crimped. The only visible guard hairs on her second blanket are sparse ones on the edges of her belly and apron. Her neck and lower leg fleece are shorter, like a vicuna, which allows the majority of her fiber-growing energies to go into her blanket. Faith is a product of our efforts to produce some top quality alpacas that are unrelated to many common, popular bloodlines as well as to ultilize the more highly scrutinized 4P, 5P and 6P imports, the later of which had to pass the most stringent selection criteria of all importations. Faith's sire line goes back to Snowmass' 4P Andean Gold and the rest of her ancestors hail from the 1998 Peruvian importation, so she is unrelated to many great grey bloodlines and all Accoyo lines. Peruvian Heritage (coops and regions): Alianza, Condorsenca, Hauycho, Macusani, Machacoyo, Pinaya, Santa Rosa. There's no denying the superior fleece genetics of a top quality Peruvian.

Serenity is a rare and beautiful, full Peruvian rose gray who has many strengths to bring to the table. She's very typey, calm and sweet with a voluminous, royal baby fine, exceptionally soft and long, silky, lustrous fleece with minimal medullation and excellent coverage. She has a slightly compact frame and correct conformation and movement. She is easy to handle and likes people. Two very typey Champion full Peruvian parents...MSG and MF. "Allie" has at least nine champion and blue ribbon parents, grandparents and great grandparents and comes from the best overall producers in our herd. We may have to keep this one as she's very much foundation quality. She will be a reliable producer of ribbon winners. Allie looks like what we want every black alpaca to look like...typey and correct with full coverage. She's a beautiful girl with a uniform, fine, high frequency crimped fleece skin to tip. Allie has excellent structure, proportions and conformation, phenotype, uniformity and coverage and she's very sweet. Allie's sire is the 2010 AOBA Gray Male Composite Champion, Snowmass RRoyal Fox. Her dam won a blue ribbon for her fleece and was sired by our home-bred champion, Constantino. Her older full sister, Krisitana (MSG), sold at the 2013 AOBA auction and is in the ARI EPD 1% club.

Ashlee was her dam's 13th cria. Our Trufflina line (Sire: P. Andrajo - an Alianza male imported along with Bueno and Hemingway, etc.) originally owned by Foxglove Farms (retired), then Misty Ridge Alpacas, both in WA.) has been one of our most successful bloodlines as it has been for many other farms, large and small. ATV Addonnis came from this bloodline. Adorable Ashlee is maturing into a beautiful young hembra and is ready to become a mama. Her fleece is uniform, long and dense with a nice handle. The strong crimp character is maintaining each year. Production female. Calm with a very drapey, silky fleece and 16 microns at 3 years old. Sire is national composite champion and dam's line includes the famous Hannaruh. Destiny is also the herd guardian and loudly alerted me to a great granddaddy sized cougar crossing the pasture...about 150 feet from us...one day at dusk when I was in the paddock with the female / cria herd...winter 2025. That was way closer than at the zoo!!!

2018 cria is a fine, crimpy and silky maroon female by Constantino named Merlowe. Histogram of MSG daughter American Dream (purchased by Delphi Alpacas): AFD 13.9 m / S D 3.1 / 22.1 CV / 0.3 >30 Wow. Sired by our Patriot. Pretty "Kate" is our best gray female. She inherited the best traits from her famous gray bloodlines of Peruvian Black Epic (gray dam), Snowmass Royal Bronze (RRoyal Fox's sire), Peruvian Casanova and Aussie Rockford. She has an advanced gray fleece...very uniform in fineness and color, long staple length, high frequency crimp, density w/ low SD and great length), complete coverage, beautiful phenotype in adulthood, correct conformation, proportions and movement. Kate's tui fleece couldn't be shown because it was damaged after shearing...turned into a bed by our Great Pyrenees who broke into the area where fleeces were stored. Sire is our stunning, full Peruvian, Snowmass RRoyal Fox, the 2010 AOBA Gray Male Composite Champion sired by Snowmass Royal Bronze and out of a Snowmass Peruvian Casanova daughter who produced three Futurity winners. Her dam is our beautiful Black Epic's Journie, who in several shows never left the ring without a ribbon thanks to her very fine, crimpy and abundant fleece. Journie is extremely typey and is a rare gray offspring of Hobby Horse's Peruvian Black Epic, the most famous true black sire in the country out of 5P Klassique Grey and by 4P Black Magic. Journie's gray dam is an Aussie Rockford (famous gray stud that needs no introduction) daughter out of PLA's Silver Empress, dam of the famous black Michelangelo. I bought my first alpacas from PLA...Pine Lake Alpacas (retired) one of the first alpaca farms in the country.

Recommended breeding to Casimiro or Patriot included. Lyla's 2015 and 2016 uniform and almost spotless fleeces sold to a local fiber artist! Lyla's sire is AOBA Composite champion, Snowmass RRoyal Fox, a Royal Bronze son and out of a silver gray Casanova daughter who produced Futurity winners. Lyla's dam comes from the lines of the famous Silver Charm and Accoyo Felix. Her fleece is a lovely pigmented rose gray color with nice crimp and is silky-soft. Half brother, Graphite - 1st Futurity 2012! Eleven to 18 microns are the eight highest bars on the histogram graph for her March 2012 mid-side sample (about one inch of cria tips cut off sample). With an SD of 4.1, those eight microns (11 m to 18 m) represent close to two standard deviations, or about two-thirds of the fibers tested in the sample submitted. The graph also shows 5% of fibers at 11 microns...significantly more than her siblings. She is amazingly fine and is on a normal diet (pasture, o. grass, alfalfa, pelleted supplement). We knew with her pedigree that Starry would be an excellent brood female and that she is, having easily produced two beautiful daughters (one silver, one black) from her first two breedings. We love our beautiful and elegant Bon Bon. She is one of our kid's favorites. It's interesting how they know the good ones. Her pedigree is rock solid with award-winning black and gray bloodlines known for quality fleece, soundness and productivity. She's very people friendly, playful and too smart! She hit the ground at 21 pounds and stood up at a little over ten minutes old! She gained 1/2 pound per day. Fully grown, she is average size. Bon Bon inherited the best from parents. Her fleece is a deep black with a very silky handle, is very bright, perpetually very fine with good density and aligned medium crimp and a long staple length. She has good coverage and very minimal guard hair. Her conformation, movement, proportions and bite are excellent. She needs no further improvement in her conformation and substance. Bon Bon outdoes herself every time when bred to our Snowmass RRoyal Fox. (Her dam gave us herdsire quality sons Silver Dust and Patriot.) Her three crias by Fox (Gallant, Ebony and Calumet) are healthy and correct, typey with very dense, fine, crimpy, very bright and extremely silk-soft black fleeces. I am humbled and fortunate to own this very typey Peruvian hembra. I wish I had a whole herd like her. When I saw her blurry Jan 06 sale photo I knew she was something very special..a perfect head, the slight curve in her neck, the topline and rounded rump, low tail set, deep chest, huge body capacity and blanket area, uniform color, density, fineness, character...all exemplified a textbook alpaca. One exception: she's my tallest female by 2-3", but all of her offspring are average sized. Maroon Monaco has a blanket weight very close if not the same to my whites, Pearl, and her 3x champion dam, Brentina (ARI EPD 1% club for fleece weight). She has very strong protection / survival instincts and is very expressive, yet is very tractable and easy to handle. She shows constant concern for others, alpacas and people alike. She passed our detailed selection criteria and was purchased to be one of our top foundation females. She blossomed slowly and year after year has maintained the exceptional qualities that earned her a blue ribbon from judge Safley. All four of her fawn colored grandparents are from the last, most stringent '98 importation and different regions. She's a full Peruvian with outcross vigor. (No Accoyo.) Peggy is a champion, a top producer and she still looks great at 14! Her pedigree that includes: Accoyo Royal Fawn, Peruvian Gold Rush, Royal Peruvian Apollo, Peruvian Precious Fawn, Aphrodite and the "dam of the century" P. Misty Maiden. Her phenominal 2008 LB daughter, sired by Rubicon (son of Snowmass Royal Rose -sold for $72k at the 09 Futurity), won Female Color Champion as a juvenile and Judge's Choice Halter (equivalent of Grand Champion) at Alpacapalooza 09, then First and Res. Champion at the Pasco show and in 2010 sold in the AOBA auction to Magical Farms and partners! Peggy's full sister, Angel, is a 7x champion and another sister from the same dam, sold for $85,000 at 3 weeks old. Her grand-dam, P. Misty Maiden, has over 70 championships for her own offspring at last check. Her famous sire, Royal P. Apollo, is an undefeated 9x champion and get of sire winner and has produced numerous champions. Apollo's sire is Accoyo Royal Fawn. Peggy's fleece has remained crimpy, fine and dense at 12 years old. She has a typey head and complete coverage. Her crias have all been healthy and top quality.

Cimarron is a sweet-natured female with a very dense modern gray fleece that exhibits very good fineness and a higher frequency crimp. She has lots of gray and black genetics in her pedigree. She's also Anahera's younger full sister. Famous ancestors include Accoyo Felix (sire of Aussie Rockford), The Silversmith and Lanarks' Silver Charm.

Died in 2019 after we sold her, likely due to grazing on too much fresh pasture after being on dry lot.. Notable...13, 14 and 15 microns are by far the highest bars on her first histogram graph. And, her regrowth is staying the same. Beautiful Radinka ("active one") is the fourth cria produced by Christina and Fox who just have a nack for producing high frequency crimp in their offspring and interestingly, it was even reflected in the EPDs before the we submitted our herd's data. Besides being typey and adorable and full of personality, "Dinkers" fleece is extremely fine with very high frequency crimp. Looking at her first histogram there are about 48% of fibers between 11 and 15 microns. The SD is way too high though (common in grays) so she'll be bred to a herdsire with a very low SD. Still, her fleece has a wonderfully soft, supple and smooth handle. Sept. 2016 I pulled a few fiber from her side and measured mostly twelve crimps per inch, with some at 10 cpi. The 10-12 cpi is consistent on every fiber, even primaries. Radinka's full sister, Kristiana, was in the 2015 EPD 1% club for MC (mean curvature)...before we sent in our herd's data. Radinka's mostly Peruvian pedigree includes all of the best producers from our herd: Constantino, Trufflina, Andrajo, Christina, Lady Monaco. Her gray ancestory hails from Snowmass Peruivan Casanova, Snowmass Royal Bronze and best ever, Peruvian Bueno. She is unrelated to all other gray lines and all the Accoyos.

Service Sire for 2025 cria is FDA Sensational Starstruck by CCNF Leviathan. 2025...Mellona still has an incredibly, uniformly fine fleece finer that some crias. Uniform fineness and character, greatly increased crimps per inch, sound conformation, correct phenotype and calm temperament. Her dam, Pakoa, was an extremely fine true black. 14 m tui fleece and the curve on her next histogram increased to 63 (16 m / 4 sd)! Mellona is a compact female and is co-owned with Sonshine Alpacas. We call her our "dryer lint" girl because of her fineness. She has a silly personality like her sire and an incredibly fine fleece...inherited from both parents. You'll be challenged to find a finer gray fleece with a high degree of curvature...lingering even at nine years old.

2019 - She's a roan! Produced a classic gray male cria in 2018. 2017 regrowth looks just like the above photo...very strong crimp character. From the Aleutian Eagle herd...She is a daughter of two top producers, Patagonia's Vittorio and Patagonia’s Juneau. Her pedigree contains the coveted Lennox and Nishio combination which is where she gets her beautiful lingering crimp architecture. Vittorio placed 1st at the Futurity and Juneau is a CHAMPION producer and Produce of Dam winner year after year. Tesla's pedigree includes Patagonia’s Danko (gray, 2x @ 25%), Patagonia’s Lennox and she is an Accoyo Yupanqui granddaughter. Tesla is a maternal 1/2 sister to 11-times champion Arctic Rose (gray), including first place at Futurity and 3/4 sister to multi-champion Aurora (Juneau X Nishio).

Peace has excellent fineness, length and density for a black alpaca which she inherited from both of her top quality parents. She had the tell-tale wrinkles all the way up the back of her neck after we sheared her at two months old. Every offspring from her dam, ATV Delite, has ridiculously density and passed that trait on to her two previous crias, Adoration and Felecity. who both won ribbons at competitive shows. Peace is from two black parents with fine, crimpy, very dense, silky fleeces. Peace inherited density, character, extreme uniform fineness, very long staple length and silky handle along with strong conformation. She has many award winning relatives in black, gray and fawn. We purchased our very first alpacas from Pine Lake Alpacas (now retired) who bred Sophia. When we met her dam Marcella (an own Guellermo daughter) as a yearling in early 1998, we were blown away by her...drop-dead stunning with a huge volume of fleece. Sophia produced the famous Golden Legend who is now owned by Delphi Alpacas. Her full brother is Equinox Eternix who won multiple championships and sold for $73,000. We are so happy to have Sophia with us for what we hope will be her last couple crias and especially that we have a Snowmass gray champion P. Bueno descendant in AOBA Composite champion Snowmass RRoyal Fox...who has "lingering" non-medullated (all fibers have similar crimp) royal fineness with great density with pigmented gray, true black and maroon color genetics. Breeders describe their Constantino line as their very best...PRODUCERS!!! 15 years ago the judges called him the "future of the industry" and they were right. In 2016 two of his juvie sons, Bonafide (LB) and Travelin' Man (BB), earned 1st FFH in very competitive classes. Tino's show career lasted 5 years and he successfully competed with the best in the country. His fleece stats for fineness and weight from 12+ years ago are on par with today's show winners. Tino's fleece took four years to increase one point for Standard Deviation...on a hig plain of nutrition. Tino's 19m /17 CV super dense cria fleece never collected debris; 9 - 10 crimps per inch in '03 and '04. Shearing Tino's first two fleeces was difficult. They were so dense, fine and slick that his skin got pulled into the blades several times. Teo is a medium fawn roan. He's gorgeous, but isn't going to have the degree of density required to be a first string herdsire. He strongly resembles his dam, has nice conformation, excellent phenotype and fleece character and a great disposition. His younger full brother is WhorlAway.

Triumph is beautiful in conformation, type and color. He's a full Peruvian from two blue ribbon parents. His fleece character is uniform across his blanket and a crimpy, non-fading deep true black color all over his body. However, he's not the finest or most dense black male we have, so we will use him selectively for genetic diversity to further infuse non-fading, true black color, correct type and the wonderful 4P Black Magic line into our herd. Note: We do not practice nor do we promote breeding for extreme density because it creates increased health risks with heat stress in the spring prior to shearing, as well as mildew problems in the fleece from sweating. Clear, sunny spring days really heat up those full fleeces and the alpacas want to be out in the pastures munching up that new spring grass! Remember, quality alpaca fleece has exceptional heat retention. We have seen and heard of the detrimental effects of too many alpacas and fleeces from heat stress, including top-tier prize white males going sterile, so...that's our two cents. ;>) If sold, we will retain a few breedings. We got what we were hoping for with this one. Gray color and pattern from his sire, Rincon Cloud, and his mom's blue ribbon density, phenotype and structure right down to his short muzzle, sloped rump and deep chest. We can't wait to see him mature and start breeding our gray Snowmass RRoyal Fox daughters. He's unrelated to most of our herd. These lines have nicked really well for us so far, producing some of our very best. aka: "Rusty". Cute, healthy, straight and sound solid red-maroon male with an extremely fine and silky fleece. 2/28/13: Rusty is developing into a junior herdsire prospect. His fleece has that "Oh my gosh!" fineness, medium amplitude and frequency crimp and very good density, especially considering the uniformity of the fineness. His neck fiber is just as fine and more dense than the blanket with better defined crimp and bundling. He has excellent phenotype with depth of jaw, a text book bite and the ears and topknot I'd like to see on all my alpacas. Now for the wait...to see what he looks like by shearing day and then again a year later...and the histograms!

Dash is from two of our best alpacas and is being sold as a pet. Sadly, we lost his dam, Constantina (LF), post-surgery for a twisted intestine when Dash was a weanling. She missed her class as a yearling but went on to produce 5x champion Aston Martin by Rincon Cloud, blue ribbon winner Halaya Rose by Deacon Gray and a 2nd place produce of dam in a class of 16. Her full brother is handsome award-winner Chocolate Porter (maroon) who has produced some gorgeous offspring. Dash is a handsome male with a very soft and crimpy fleece and excellent coverage.

Tap Shoes keeps getting better. His 2015-2016 fleece is "wow"...super dense, tiny curls on the cut ends of minute bundles on the blanket and up the neck, aligned high definition crimp, long and bright. He has excellent phenotype and conformation as well. He is another example of the fantastic nick we get when we cross our Fox and Tino lines. (Admittedly, not all our past attempts at planned crosses have nicked well, so we're really pleased when we see the very best traits from both sides of the pedigree expressed so consistently with each cria! ) Tap Shoes spent Summers of 2014 and 2015 at the Everett Parks petting zoo with his related buddy Crusader. He's an excellent junior ambassador for alpacas with his correct phenotype and complete fleece coverage. His fleece is stunning with density, high definition crimp, high brightness, silky handle and length. If we (or anyone) could get something other than pintos when we breed our P. Misty Maiden ("Dam of the Century") bloodlines to dark or gray color genetics...oh well. They produce truly outstanding fawns from fawns, but when bred to gray and darker colors, they typically throw white on the head, neck and legs...with dark colored blankets of exceptional quality. The quality in dark fleece is there, even though they are technically "pintos". Bred back to fawns and solids, mostly solids are produced.

Sire of Dixie, Starry, Betsy Ross and Mateo. Very sadly, a couple years ago Dusty got overheated (only 70 with strong sunshine and plenty of shade) the day before shearing. He sired one cria shortly thereafter and none since, so he's now for sale as a pet. We really need to think about breeding alpacas with too much density. Like his TB sire, Megabuck Mink in his first 4 years, Dusty's entire fleece shows no visible strong guard hairs, is silky-soft and fine, very long stapled and very bright with very good density; medium amplitude and frequency crimp; very abundant fiber coverage all the way around and down his perfect legs! We sheared Dusty's black cria tips at one month of age to reveal his silver dust...no spots! His fleece is becoming more dusted with silver as he matures. Dusty's parents have produced 4 lb. annual blankets (1sts only) and Dusty's 08 fleece is going to be huge! We still can't find a conformational fault on this male, teeth to toenails as the judge confirmed! Following in his parents footsteps, Dusty is robust and very healthy with large testicles, heavy bone and musculature, proportions and bite. Dusty is one of the smartest and easiest alpacas I know with a wonderfully calm and trusting dispostion. As a young cria, he let me run my hand down his leg without even a flinch.His solid pedigree is full of successful bloodlines in the showrings and the breeding pastures: Patagonia's Compadre/Caballero Adante, Michelangelo/P. You can't ask for better conformation or a better temperament and his fleece is uniform and soft. An alpaca "Star Packer" (a sheriff in the old west) wears his star in his topknot. He has blue ribbon parents and is 3/4's related to our champion, Constantino! Star Packer looks very handsome and masculine...beautiful head, perfect legs and movement, topline, bite alignment, ears, head, tail, teats (yes it matters, males can have nipple anomalies)and bulging muscles! He gained 24 lbs in his first month and 30 in his second month, tripling his birth weight in 2 mos. which is great. He's the 8th cria out of his dam and all of his siblings were born here. His fleece is extremely soft and shiney. His head is black and his cria tips were a medium maroon, but the fleece growing in since birth changed abruptly to a very dark brown interspersed with medium and light brown. There's no white yet, so I guess he can't be called a gray.

Honor is one handsome little dude. He is a full brother to Tap Shoes. His LF fawn dam and all of her LF female relatives...Isabelle, Pegasus and all the way back to the famous "dam of the century" P. R.I.P. Losing Megabuck was like losing a best friend. He had the energy and spirit of 10 alpacas yet always behaved like a gentleman for me. His lines will continue on our farm through his descendants. He's got spirit and attitude. Great conformation and a pet quality fleece. He spent the summer of 2016 at the Everett Parks petting zoo with herdmates Cosimo and Stewart. Spirit is his dam's first cria and his sire's last. His sire Megabuck was an AOBA blue ribbon, non-fading TB, full Peruvian stud with looks, presence, macho and intelligence. He was a favorite of many. Spirit's dam is a TB from our DF foundation dam who gave us 12 crias, easy births and tons of milk (up to one pound per day gain on her crias).

2016: Shearer told us he thought that Crusader has paco-vicuna density. Crusader is a beautiful male with a fleece that is uniformly very finely with nice aligned crimp character still in his 2015/2016 fleece. He spends several weeks each summer with his buddy Tap Shoes as alpaca ambassadors at the petting zoo in the city of Everett, WA. He is junior herdsire quality.

Bonafide is a very handsome young male with excellent phenotype, conformation and lingering fleece. He is a multiple award-winner as a juvenile; out of a DSG dam and our 14 year old LF champion sire, Constantino. His full brother is Crusader who our 2016 shearer said has paco-vicuna density. Bonafide's fleece is maintaining it's fineness and character and his pedigree includes Alianza co-op sires P. Andrajo and P. Bueno. He is unrelated to all Accoyos, Guellermo and Hemingway.

Handsome Granite has a champion Snowmass gray sire and top-knotch pedigree and is quite sweet and adorable. His fleece is uniform and a deeply pigmented gray / slate colored fleece. Winter 2023...his cria tips are still a little relaxed, but the crimp is starting to show promise at the skin. Excellent brightness and a silky, supple handle. Density looks good. When Granite was born I found his dam at dinner time having difficulty...uh-ooo...cria being born right before dusk. This boy was born backward...with the bottom of his back feet pointing up at the sky, so he was helped out...gently pushing one leg in to get the opposite leg out, then the other leg, then he slid right out..looking like he'd been in that position for his entire gestation. I swung him in a circle to remove fluids from his airways and with one month stall rest to help his legs he did the rest and is looking great. His dam was fine with just a little extra recovery time from the birth. His pedigree is loaded with top shelf genetics.

Duke's 2014 fleece was sorted as grade 2 (two) by AFCNA. Duke earns himself a position on herdsire row for his Bolivian/Chilean heritage and his fleece's lingering crimp character and softness (6+ years) with minimal visible guard hair on a sturdy, correct frame with excellent type and temperament. Blues for halter and fleece at Alpacapalooza 2007 with four in the class in his third year winning ribbons. RC cria fleece at AWE show! At a herdsire review a few years ago, he was one of the finest, crimpiest mature blacks and his aligned crimp was still there in his sixth fleece. He has award-winning parents who nicked well to produce Duke's alpaca synergy! Duke has impressed many top judge's with his beautiful, typey head and physique, fluid movement in all gaits, a fleece that is remarkable in regards to uniformity and character into his extremities and amazing lack of guard hair. The handle...silky softness, suppleness and bundles with aligned, well-defined crimp of medium amplitude and frequency is there too...even in his fourth fleece! Correct phenotype, correct stance and bite, presence, substantial bone and muscle, average size, a well-mannered temperament, strong libido and correct testicles rounds out what this nice male has to offer. Daughter KCAF American Dream (13.9 / 3.1 / 22.1 / 0.3) sold to Delphi Alpacas! Gorgeous fawn daughter out of Princess in 2018. We love what Patriot is doing! After waiting on his sire to step aside, Patriot's first two cria are finally here and are just what we expected. See American Dream and Brentano. Just like his sire and paternal brother Casimiro, Patriot has lingering fleece qualities and type. At 6 years old he still has very good fineness and nice crimp character in his entire fleece including neck and legs. We don't have histograms for Patriot becuase his early fleeces were damaged by our Great Pyrenees, broken pipes and another lost it's tag and we didn't want to guess...thus Patriot's EPD rankings will have to come from his ancestors and descendants. He's a head hunter's dream, very typey, large bone, soft and uniformly fine, very dense, complete coverage, correct conformation and movement, and a perfect bite. He also has a very nice temperament and is an efficient breeder. Patagonia's Compadre (Chilean), Peruvian Guellermo (Huarapina region) and Peruvian Andrajo (Alianza co-op) in his pedigree. Sire is our prepotent Constantino who won blues and purples for five years and has many regional and national award winning kids and grandkids. He's unrelated to all Accoyo bloodlines. We will be breeding Patriot (P. Guellermo/P. Andrajo/Patagonia's Compadre) some of our Snowmass RRoyal Fox offspring (Casanova / Bueno descendants) as these bloodlines bloodlines together have great synergy and are long proven to nick very well.

Top 25% for SDAFD and SF, 2018 EPDs. Spring 2019 Update - I sheared the herd myself this year and this male's fleece is still fabulous...fine, dense, bright, very crimpy and long. I switched to a 20 tooth comb and...botched it...the fleece laid down and so there were second cuts all over the place...my mistake. So it won't be entered in any fleece shows. Black from Peruvian Black Epic and Hannaruh (famous gray dam) lines and our "Future of the Industry" Constantino. This male is prepotent, contains no Accoyo lines and is looking better every year. We're going to start his breeding career this year! His first show: 2016 CABA - 1st place, very competitive class of 8; judge Arturo Pena. Peers in the class were sired by: Snowmass Sizlin Rose, Crescent Moon's Propel, .38 Midnight Special, Patagonia's Antonio, TAG Peruvian Bellagio and Rumm Runner. The very humid weather of the Pacific northwest kept "Trekker" with his silky fine fleece from going to the shows earlier in the year. Fortunately the weather for the CABA '16 show was just right and his fleece was showing its true characteristics that weekend. Fleece was described as "exquisite" by our good friend Lona Frank of ATV. Trekker's sire is our 17 YEAR OLD home-bred "FUTURE OF THE INDUSTRY" champion, CONSTANTINO. His 9 year old gray dam is our Black Epic's Journie. He hails from the bloodlines of P. Andrajo, Lanarks' Locota, 4P Black Magic, Aussie Rockford, Hannahruh. It was Tino and Journie's first mating and they nicked really well. Trekker's blanket fleece is very silky with high brightness, deep black color, highly crimped, very long and very uniformly fine with excellent drape and handle and has no medullation. It's the perfect fleece type needed for high quality worsted fabric. We'll be saving his first few fleeces to make into yarn. While he could be a little more dense that would likely shorten his amazing staple length. His unskirted cria blanket weighs 2 1/4 lbs., the same as his LF sire's cria fleece weight. He is unrelated to Hemingway and all Accoyo lines except Felix (Aussie Rockford). "Trekker" also has spot-on conformation and proportions, correct phenotype and presence with complete coverage. He has an agreeable disposition and a strong libido when it comes to the females. Halter training him took no effort. We will be making him available for limited outside breedings in 2017!

By a champion Snowmass gray sire (AOBA composite, S. Loner) and out of a maroon blue ribbon dam (AWE, M. Safley). Paternal brother, Graphite - 1st Futurity 2012! Paternal sister, Reyna - 1st, Alpacapalooza 2012! "Marky" is covered nose to toes with "lingering" worsted quality fleece...overall uniform, ultra royal 14.5 micron fleece and nicely dense with zipper crimp from his forehead down his tail. His third fleece is one of the best on the farm and triple bundled...big bundles made up of several smaller bundles which are then made up of micro-bundles and it's difficult to distinguish the primaries among the secondaries. He has a smaller build and is lighter boned...common for very fine fleeced alpacas. We didn't take him to the shows because his cria fleece developed character slowly (like his dam), then his second fleece was too tender and his third fleece had a color change right in the middle of the staple from nearly black back to maroon. It's ok...we are now looking forward to finding out his ability to pass on his best to his future crias. Marquis and his full sis, Faith, have a full Peruvian pedigree that consists mostly of alpacas from the final and most stringent importations as well as the famous Alianza sire, P. Bueno. So, except for Bueno and Casanova, they are unrelated to most bloodlines. They are unrelated to all Accoyos and Hemingway.

Remy is will be 5 yrs. old in 2016 and he still has one amazingly uniformly fine fleece with little to no medullation (like his sire) and with one of the heaviest blanket weights on the farm. Show string for 2018. We held him back from showing as a juvie and yearling because he was a little small for his age. Typey and compact; coverage everywhere. Cria fleece: 15.0 afd , 3.6 cv. Second year regrowth has very high frequency and amplitude crimp skin to tip with retained fineness Cosimo is a very promising male. As a weanling, he exhibited correct conformation and type and a very fine fleece with high amplitude / high frequency crimp developing with a silky handle and long staple. He has a champion sire and many other champions in his pedigree. He's in our future breeding plans.

2018 Show string...expected great things...in shades of purple (grin). Exactly what we were hoping for with this breeding, a junior herdsire male. He is unrelated to most of the herd. When he was born his fleece formed tiny, firm, tight curls next to his skin. He fleece is very bright and very fine with very good density. We love his presence and adorable head. We think he looks very promising. His sire and dam are both champions as well as top producers.

Delite's black fleece exhibits exceptional density, uniformity, fineness and handle. She has maintained textbook phenotype and her fleece has not grayed out with age. Delite is a paternal sister to our Reserve Champion, Carmelina. Their sire, Snowmass Nova's Nuance (owned by Alpacas of Tualatin Valley and Skyline Alpacas), is a stunning TB by Snowmass Nova, a son of the famous MSG, Snowmass Casanova (sire the incomparable P. Bueno). On her maternal side, she hails from the Accoyo Royal Fawn, Rico de Peru, 6Peruvian 007, and P. Gold Rush bloodlines.

Cholula is a very pretty and very reliable, healthy and correct with a perfect bite and a sweet temperament which she passes on to her crias. She breeds easily, is a very good milker and passesher uniform, fine, dense, crimpy and very silky fleece characteristics on her crias. Cholula is one of the deepest "red" alpacas you will ever see. She had almost a purple hue to her fleece when she was younger. She glowed magenta against a carpet of green grass. Her fleece has remained wonderfully fine and silky soft. Her grandsire is the famous maroon, 5Peruvian Camelot, who was always owned by Stachowski Alpacas and her dam is a Chilean from the most stringent, '98 importation.

Champion sired and will be champion bred to our 2010 AOBA Grey Composite Champion, Snowmass RRoyal Fox! The cria will have the famous bloodlines of Snowmass Royal Bronze, Snowmass Casanova, P. Bueno, 4P Black Magic, CP Black Hawk, P. Andrajo and P. Misty Maiden. Buttercup's full siblings are: our 2009 Alpacapalooza Black Reserve Champion, Casimiro (18.0 afd / 3.0 sd / 16.7 cv...true black!), and our lovely Claresse and she is a paternal half sister to our gorgeous, knock-out MB Christina. Buttercup has very correct phenotype that includes spear-shaped ears, depth of jaw, low tail set and correct leg structure. Her LF roan fleece has excellent density, fineness, high crimp definition, brightness, uniformity, staple length and a very silky - soft handle. With her vicuna shading and with her fleece genetics she will reliably produced dark colors with these desirable characteristics. She is average sized and her fleece coverage extends to her toes. Her sire is our champion Constantino who won blues and purples for fives years from top judges and in steep competition. He is stamping his image on his crias consistently! Bred 9/4/18. Excellent density and exceptional fleece character. Lots of Alianza in her pedigree. 2019: She still has nice aligned crimp from her topknot to the tip of her tail. Felecity inherited density and outstanding fleece character from both of her top quality parents. She also has very good staple length with that density. She has a richly cinnamon colored fleece and dark points. She has solid conformation, coverage from nose to toes and minimal visible guard hair. Felecity's farm name is "Chubs" because she keeps herself in very good body condition and she's so dense her fleece is completely closed, like a wall, making her look even more chubby. Felecity has excellent fleece architecture with that perfectly aligned crimp across the staple that grows out of the skin at an angle. All she needs is better fineness, so we bred her to Marquis! Great EPDs for this Constantino daugter... We love beautiful Doenutte and her super crimpy crias! Petite and sweet and her fiber is LINGERING! Some of our very best came from Constantino crossed with our Isabelle / Clarissa line. Doenutte's fleece is amazing. It just stays the same every year. When she was born she looked like a powdered sugar covered doughnut with her head, tail and feet dunked in coffee, thus her name. (Her tail color faded as she grew up.) Her awesome fleece is pure white from a fawn roan sire and a red pinto dam. Her soft fleece easily parts open and "pops" with well defined high definition crimp and high brightness. She has correct phenotype and conformation with her strong topline, deep chest, low tail set and straight legs which are completely covered with fleece. She was standing in ten minutes, then nursed up a storm and ran around the pastures all afternoon. Doenutte's famous pedigree includes: P. Black Magic, CP Black Hawk, P. Misty Maiden, P. Andrajo and she is unrelated to the Accoyos and Hemingway.

Mimi Nova is a calm-natured, solid, robust female with a soft, uniform fleece. She has very correct conformation and a calm, sweet temperament. Mimi has black and gray genetics and all three major bloodlines from our herd, Andrajo and Bueno - both Alianzas, and Locota (our first herdsire). -AOBA Blue Ribbon full Peruvian non-fading TB sire from a striking MSG dam. -Alpacapalooza Reserve Champion dam from the Nova / Casanova / Peruvian Bueno bloodlines. Mimi arrived at 336 days gestation, 16 pounds, and gained a full pound a day. (She's grown up to be on the large side of average for an alpaca and has large bones and is very well conditioned.) That heavy lactation trait goes back at least to her granddam, our Trufflina. Mimi has sparse light fibers throughout her fleece, long staple, minimal guard hair, medium crimp and full leg coverage. (Note: her sire has thrown lots of dark solids, a couple DSG's (no known BEWs.) Mimi has perfect conformation, teeth to toes to tail. Check out her family tree and you'll find consistent production, excellent lactation, numerous show winners (incl. championships), grey on both sides (see 6P Dona Jacira, who we used to own), as well as Alianza (P. Bueno and P. Andrajo) and Snowmass genetics.

Royal is a lovely black female with correct conformation and a soft, bright, crimpy fleece. She has been bred twice and produced two nice, healthy crias, one black (Spirit, 2015) and one gray (Silver Shadow, 2016...royal fine fleece). She has an Alianza - Accoyo pedigree including Accoyo Royal Fawn and Peruvian Andrajo (Alianza). Royal's dam, Trufflina, was a blue ribbon fleece winner who beat Pacific Crest's P. Microsoft with Judge Julie Skinner at PNAA 2000. Trufflina also produced 13 crias with outstanding weight gain (up to 1 pound per day for the first 9 days) and high IgGs (3000s+) and...this line (P.. Andrajo) has contributer greatly to the success of many blue ribbon winners and champions. Royal's black sire is from the Accoyo Royal Fawn lineage and the Stachowski breeding program. Royal was born at 18+ lbs and was running circles in the barn stall at one hour old! She is very dark black with a very soft, crimpy, nicely dense fleece. She has beautiful structure and a lovely, typey head. Her maternal brother, our champion Constantino, beat award-winning sons of two record high-selling studs (Legacy and Royal Fawn) and won blue ribbons for 5 years for FF halter and fleece and has many award winning descendants.

Reseda's pedigree is Snowmass on the top side and Accoyo America on the bottom side. She is one of the best looking females in our herd and she's maintaining with age. She's robust with heavy bone and tons of "lingering" fleece. Her 3x champion white dam (with fawn fibers throughout) is in the EPD 1% club for Fleece weight and has better than average fineness. Her sire, Snowmass RRoyal Fox, is the 2010 AOBA gray male composite champion. This is the lightest color her MSG sire has thrown and the darkest color her champion "white" (w/ fawn fibers throughout) dam has thrown...so far. Her dam and maternal sister, Pearl, have both produced 5 pound blankets of bright, silky, long and crimpy fiber in the 19-22 micron range.

Named after the Jarden Exotique in the country of Monaco (dam's name). Her baby fine fleece has good density with high definition crimp from the front of her topknot to the tip of her tail, high brightness and a silky handle. She's has a gorgeous rich color that is nearly black and it fades to maroon (not brown). She has unique fleece coloring, similar to her grandsire, P. Orion. Exotique hails from the later Peruvian imports and P. Andrajo (Alianza coop) and is unrelated to the popular Hemingway, Guellermo and all Accoyo lines. Exotique is a full sister to blue ribbon winner Christina who is one of our producers of top quality. Our home-bred 2004 Champion, Constantino, was 12 when he sired this beauty. In his 5-year long very successful show career the judges called him the future of the industry. And over a decade later he just keeps turning out keepers...both daughters and sons. He also sired KCAF Bonafide and KCAF Travelin' Man, both who won first place ribbons in 2016. Her first cria is a pretty fawn female born in 2019. Exotique birthed easily and is a very attentive mom.

Shasta placed third at both the 2021 CABA and AWE shows! She's the image of her sire (a FAWN ROAN) with strong fleece characteristics also from her dam who is one of our best producers. Extremely dense fleece with high frequency / high amplitude crimp, bright and very fine. Very solid pedigree: Navigator, Ulysses, Constantino, Black Hawk, Desert Sun. She has generations of champions deep in her pedigree and exhibits the best of her paternal and maternal lines, so we are confident that her crias will not disappoint. However...in my close to 30 years in alpacas this girl is the only one who will be happy to hard kick you into next week frequently, even not pregnant. The key is to stay well out of her rear kick zone. She gets along with the herd and is manageable on her front end for deworming, shots, shearing. Fall 2023 her fleece still looks great. April 2025...still getting more frosty. Gray / Appy / Pinto / Harleguin potential? She appeared to have a solid blanket, but after her 2023 shearing there are frosty spots on both sides of her blanket...moreso on the side with the pinto legs and going up the back of her nick to her topknot...very unigue to say the least! Her sire is gray and her dam got the pinto gene from the P. Misty Maiden (famous high seller) infusion...that's how she got the pinto /appy left legs. Moon Beam has a soft crimpy fleece and a nice, calm personality. Moon Beam came to be as the result of a storm and a couple males breaking into the female pasture, so you'll see some common relatives on her pedigree, including a double shot of the incredible Trufflina, the matriarch of our herd who produced CC and RC offspring...and they produced a couple of Judge's Choice winners with 6th and 7th year fleeces. Trufflina had 13 cria total and milked like a dairy cow putting one pound per day for the first nine days on her sixth cria (Carmelina). Moonbeam was born very late on a blustery day by the light of the moon, thus her name.

Another breeder purchased a breeding to "criate" Juliete and I bought her open in '23 because she is hands down the best daughter from her sire who I have has the pleasure to own for 15 years. I also purchased and still own two of her maternal sisters, Mixie and Finale. Juliete: Full Peruvian and full Snowmass including Matrix + XXXtreme + Royal Bronze + Casanova and in the bottom right postions are Legacy Gold and Amberlight. Juliete is ranked top 5% to 12% in five 2024 EPD traits, but has yet to have her own data entered. Juliete has solid conformation, complete coverage, an alert presence and is the herd guardian. She's easy to manage, very smart and loves the crias. Her fleece is very dense with good fineness and organized crimp character. Her 2024 blanket (unskirted) weighs a full five pounds. Parents: She's out of Matrisia (17 years old and pregnant for 2024), a calm and stunning MF own Matrix daughter who is inside 2% for FW. I have two other Matrisia daughters...champion and gray producer Matrix Mix has an EPD FW of 0.3% and Titan's Finale (2nd @ 2 yrs) with seven EPDs in the top 5% to 15% and she produced a gray daughter also. Her 17 year old sire is my 2010 national composite champion Snowmass RRoyal Fox (MSG) who is at 2% AFD. Fox's progeny are intelligent, alert and calm, well built, have less guard hair than their dams and uniformly fine fleeces with dark saturated colors that need very little skirting. J.T.'s crias (TB, MB, MRG, MSG, maroon) are placing in the ribbons and all are typey with extremely fine, soft and bright, tightly crimped, very uniform and *lingering* fleeces. We've crossed other Fox descendants with J.T. and the fleeces are consistently amazing and everything hoped for from this tried and true pedigree combination.
