Discerning visitors notice Mysti. She's robust and abundantly fleeced. 2011: (sold) RRoyal Silver Secret - gorgeous full sis to Rhapsodee! Sold. 2010: (sold) RRoyal Rhapsodee - stunning grey daughter by our AOBA Grey Composite Champion, Snowmass RRoyal Fox! Sold to Lona Frank. 2009: (sold) Yankee Doodle, a quality, handsome, true black male by Lanarks Silver Charm (Deceased Winter 2012, was owned by Silver Lining Alpacas.) Sold. 08: (sold) Aura Bella (IgG 2500) sold at 8 mos. to Catalpa Creek, ribboned in her shows and is expecting a Private Reserve cria Fall 2010! Aura Bella's daughter Miss Shelby produced Judge's Choice male West Penn Supreme Justice. Mysti's story: We sold our lovely Megabuck daughter, Golden Truffles (see AN sold), out of Trufflina (dam to our champion, Constantino...paternal half brother to Megabuck). That left us without a Megabuck daughter to breed to P. Incantation. Luckily, Larry and Natalie Walton of Acme Alpacas purchased a donated breeding to Megabuck for their DSG Sinopsis Nocturna daughter, Oreo. Mystique was the result. Thank you Larry and Natalie for selling this lovely girl to me! "Mysti" is sweet and spunky and placed in the ribbons with a damp fleece at the very competitive AWE 06 (Safley). Before she was shorn, she looked like a black copy of her beautiful grandsire, 4Peruvian Lanark's Locota (who I used to own). I have not seen many true blacks so heavy boned and abundantly woolly and fine-fleeced!!! Mysti has very correct conformation, movement and bite. Her fleece is very fine, silky soft, lustrous and uniform with medium frequency / medium amplitude crimp, minimal guard hair and a very long staple excellent fiber coverage. Mystique and her paternal sister Bon Bon, both make beautiful crias with our Snowmass RRoyal Fox.

Sequoia is very closely related to our reserve Champion female, Carmelina, and they look very much alike. Sequoia is one of the finest and densest females in our herd which was recognized by our shearer as having the greatest volume of fine fleeces of all his clients. It's as soft as warm butter too! Her fleece exhibits excellent fineness, handle, uniformity, density, brightness, crimp and a lack of guard hair. She has correct conformation, movement and a perfect bite. I know her pedigree very well (having owned or bred many alpacas listed on it) and Sequoia exhibits the best traits from her quality ancestors. Her colorful pedigree is deep in Alianza, Snowmass and top award-winning ancestors. Her sire is a blue ribbon winning maroon. Her dam is a dense black sired by Snowmass Nova's Nuance (sire of our Reserve Champion, Carmelina). Snowmass bloodlines: P. Casanova, S. Nova, Incan Magic, S. Service Sire: Rincon Cloud
Old hip injury; walks well and cushes for breeding. Jan 2014 - Stunning MRG daughter, Nova Rosa by Rincon Cloud. Carmelina permanently injured a rear leg early in gestation, but fortunately Nova Rosa made it! When this dam was a newborn, she gained one full pound per day for her first nine days and she milks just the same. Beautiful Rosa has her dam's conformation and fine fleece and her sire's color, crimp and density. See Silver Troy, her very handsome gray son by Lanarks' Silver Charm. 9/10/12 - Carmelina birthed nice female cria, Aria, sired by our Duke. Click on her top photo to take a closer look. Carmelina is stunning. She is the image of her handsome sire colored indefinite rose grey. Carmelina is out of our 1/2 Alianza, blue ribbon (beat P. Microsoft in 2000, judge: Skinner) and champion producing DF granddam of our herd and the Snowmass Nova / Casanova bloodline on her sire's side. Carmelina is very fine and dense with sparse, silvery fibers evenly distributed throughout her entire fleece and she has the classic silver spot on the tip of her tail. Nuance is an award-winning son of Snowmass Nova [(Nova sold for $335k in 06, sire: P. Casanova (Futurity Herdsire of the Year)] who sold for $51k unproven at the 05 Snowmass Making of Champions sale. His brown roan dam, sired by Snowmass' Incan Magic (award-winning Peruvian gray), had an 18 m fleece at 3 yrs. He's owned by Alpacas of Tualatin Valley and Skyline Alpacas. Carmelina is very typey, sound, healthy and robust. Her fleece is abundant with very uniform color. Born at 331 days gestation weighing 18.8 lb., no signs of prematurity, up in 20 minutes and was more interested in exploring world than the milk bar, so we gave her some help with that! IgG: 2681 @ 52 hrs. She gained a pound a day for her first 9 days. Her multiple champion producing dam is known for exceptional lactation. 85 lb. @ 5 mos. 150 lb. on 12/4/07. Carmelina has Alianza genetics from both her sire's and dam's lineages (P. Bueno and P. Andrajo) as well as lots of black and gray on her pedigree. Dam: Caligula's Accoyo Sweet Adeline
Top 1% ARI EPD for fleece weight...ranked 101 out of 27776. (We have not yet submitted EPD data.) Brentina has fine, sparse fawn fibers throughout her fleece and we're breeding her for colored offspring. Check out her 2010 fleece stats...well over a five pound blanket, accurately weighed, with a very acceptable histogram at full maturity. Her first cria, a white male, was a two time champion. This very impressive, PROVEN, robust, part Accoyo 3x champion with a stellar pedigree was UNDEFEATED in very competitive halter classes. As a juvenile, Brentina was a sight to behold with her amazing amount of fleece. Her very silky-soft, very bright fleece has maintained its fineness. In five years, her AFD increased less than 2 microns and the SD increased only 0.4! Incredible density for a female; exceptional leg coverage and conformation, teeth never trimmed; nice phenotype, large frame; heavy bone, exceptional lactation and a very calm and sweet disposition. She has all the basic alpaca colors in her pedigree from Legacy Gold's line. Brentina is from some of the most influential Accoyo and Alianza genetics: P. CALIGULA (2x), P. Ayaviri, Accoyo Sweet Adeline, P. JESUA, P. Lace, P. MAREE LOVE, P. HEMINGWAY, P. LEGACY, Snowmass Legacy Gold, and Snowmass INVINCIBLE! Her sire, Invincible, sold for $580,000. Her dam's first cria, a female by Legacy, won eight championships, including AOBA. Her maternal granddam, Ayaviri, produced Michelangelo ($89,000) by Caligula, and Accoyo Talara, dam of Accoyo Talisman ($167,000). Sells with our full farm guarantees and support.

Top producer. Journie ribboned in every show she was entered. A judge described her fleece as highly advanced for a grey and another commented on her brightness and long staple length. She is healthy with correct conformation, bite and proportions from her nose to her toes as well as a lovely, uniformly fine (low SD) and bright fleece. She has one of the most typey heads you'll find on a gray and a people friendly disposition. Her sire is 7x champion Peruvian Black Epic who is considered to be the best black sires in the country. He's out of a grey dam, yet only 5 of Epic's 89 registered offspring are grey at this writing. Epic is known for his uniformly fine and very dense fleece and his offspring have earned over 50 championships. Epic's fleece statistics: 2000: 20.5/3.3/16.1/1.8 (cria fleece) 2001: 22.8/4.0/17.3/4.2; 4.5 lb. blanket 2003: 5.5 lb. blanket 2005: 15 pounds total! Journie's fine-fleeced dam is a daughter of the famous Aussie Rockford and PLA's Silver Empress (dam of the famous black, Michelangelo). Coincidentally, I purchased by first alpacas from Pine Lake Alpacas.

Dam: Carmelina (Snowmass Nova's Nuance)
Bloodlines: Snowmass, Patagonia, our herd matriarch and a some crimpy true black Bolilvian. Recommended breeding to Remembrance (included). We've owned many of the alpacas in this female's pedigree. Aria has very good conformation and a huge, overall uniform, crimpy fleece with minimal guard hair...traits inherited from both of her parents. Her fleece has uniform color, brightness, crimp character and length as well as medium crimp that is perfectly aligned. Alpacas with her coloring and genetics are excellent to use for producing blacks and grays. Her RC dam has been bred to gray twice and produced a silver and a rose gray. Her dam hails from Snowmass P. Casanova and P. Andrajo, is an Alpacapalooza Reserve Champion and is from our best female lineage for awards, reproduction (high birth rate - up to 13 crias) and heavy lactation (up to one pound per day gain). Her black sire won a CABA Res. Championship with his cria fleece (tips included!) and a blue ribbon on halter at Alpacapalooza as a full grown adult under judge Wade Gease. His fleece is fine, overall uniform and has lasting aligned crimp at 8 years of age.

Service Sire: Snowmass Golden Chaccu
Concordia has matured into a stunning hembra...sweet and typey with a very fine, silky-soft and drapey true maroon fleece. She comes from the best lines in our herd. Her TB sire, Casimiro, is a 2009 Reserve Champion (out of 50 blacks) who had a first year histogram of: 18.0 / 3.0 / 16.7. Concordia means harmony and at peace with man and nature. On day one she was straight and correct, has coverage everywhere and reminded me of her grandsire, Constantino, when he was born. I didn't think 'Tino was going to be exceptional until I opened up his fleece when he was four months old and almost fell over. He went on to win blues and purples for five years and has many kids and grandkids with the same color ribbons. Her incredible dam, Monaco, is my ideal hembra in every way...phenotype, temperament, instincts, uniformity, etc. Judge Mike Safley awarded her the blue ribbon as a yearling over Patagonia's Natali who sold for $35,000 at the POC auction. He commented on Monaco's phenotype, uniformity and fleece. Her fleece blossomed slowly, then maintained it's character for years and earned a blue ribbon as an adult. See sisters: Christina (maroon), sired by champion,Constantino, 3/4 related to Concordia. Faith (DSG), maternal half sister, sired by champion, Snowmass RRoyal Fox. Lady Grace (maroon), maternal half sister sold to Catalpa Creek. After her first breeding to Snowmass Golden Chaccu, we look forward to breeding Concordia to our gray AOBA CH, Snowmass RRoyal Fox. This cross has "criated" some of the best we have ever produced...see Kristiana, an MSG female in the EPD 1% club (data not yet submitted), but she has 9-10 crimps per inch, fine crimpy primaries and no visible guard hair.

Excellent producer, just like her mama. 2018 cria is a gorgeous black male...typey, bright, very silky, crimpy and dense. Great potential here. See photo of her maternal brother's fleece. Sells with breeding. Coquette is a beautiful and typey LF female with black, fawn and grey genetics. She has been full of energy literally from the time she hit the ground. Her fleece has good density and is silky and bright. Her sire is our black Reserve Champion, Casimiro (18.0 m / 3.0 sd / 16.7 cv) and her dam is a Lanarks Silver Charm granddaughter. She has many close relatives who are champions. Coquette is co-owned with Ellen Carey-Starr.

Thank you to Kathy Yeager, Alpaca Adventures - Mount Vernon, WA! The quality here speaks for itself when a sire born in 2002 and a dam born in 2003 produce a female in 2012 who places in the ribbons at competitive shows in 2014 and 2016...cool. She has lots of Sollocota and Alianza blood in her and she is unrelated to Bueno, Guellermo, Hemingway and the Accoyos. She's the essence of femininity with a uniform fleece, royal fineness, well defined crimp, brightness and silky handle. She's related to half of our herd, so for now, she's for sale. She's champion sired out of a top quality Peruvian foundation dam with a top-drawer pedigree. She has a lovely, typey head with huge, dark eyes and spot-on conformation...up on her pasterns, tracks straight, fluid movement, etc. Great disposition, people friendly and smart too. She was on her feet in 15 minutes and she had the whole pasture covered 15 minutes later. She leads the cria races every night. You go girl! I searched long and hard and purchased her dam, Isabelle, especially to breed to Constantino. Fortunately, the plan worked. Their offspring have been described as "gorgeous" and "impressive". Belle Faire's full sister, Lara Belle (see photo), sold at the AOBA auction to Patti Jennings at Willow Bend Alpacas. Her full brother, Flint, won first and Judge's Choice award with his fifth fleece at Alpacapalooza 2012. She's 3/4 related to our Reserve Champion, Casimiro, who has a dense, plush, silky TB fleecce and a histogram of 18.0 afd/ 3.0sd / 16.7cv.

2018 EPDs: Top 25% for 3 traits: AFD, SF and MC. Christina is proving herself to be perhaps our very best production female. Her crias are extremely typey, with excellent density and fineness, high frequency crimp and conformationally correct with even temperaments. At the Alpacapalooza show (April 2011), despite getting the gate, she scored 90.5 out of 100 on a 20-point comprehensive evaluation done in person by AOBA judge Sharon Loner who asked why she didn't get a ribbon. Well, she did earn a blue ribbon for that fleece the next year. In addition, her fleece exhibits evidence of derived secondary fibers as there are fibers in her fleece that look like fine, single fibers, but when they are rubbed apart, two or more fibers are present. Christina has looked like a prize alpaca since she the day she was born and looks even better all grown up. She has tons of blue ribbon winners, as well as champions, in her family tree. Her parents are two of my very best and Christina is their best yet! I have complete confidence in stating that she will be a consist producer of blue ribbon winners and champions. She is unrelated to Accoyo and Snowmass bloodlines...huge potential, IMO. She was born at 17 lb. and 336 days gestation with correct overall structure and excellent health and growth. On her first day, just 336 days from conception...her plush fiber over flowed her eyes and jaw. She is nearly full grown now and she still exhibits a gorgeous text book phenotype along with an exceptional calm temperament, excellent body capacity and substance of bone and condition, correct overall conformation and movement. Her fleece has excellent density, crimp character, uniformity and staple length along with coverage everywhere she has skin and that wonderful next to your skin, buttery, silky soft handle. I've owned many alpacas in her pedigree and besides show winners they are also known for health and soundness and off the charts lactation (newborns gaining one pound per day) and IgGs (3000+).

Service Sire: Locota's Constantino
Charity is a great candidate to be a surrogate dam as she breeds and births easily and stays in top condition. Charity and her mirror image sister Clarissa produce solids. Clarissa is the dam of RC Casimiro (18.0 / 3.0 / 16.7) who is a true black. 6/28/16: Just like her sister, Clarissa Ann (one of our top producers), Charity produced a lovely LF female cria, "Mercy" with our LF Champion Constantino (5 years of awards). Mercy is related to some of the very best in our herd...Casimiro, a solid TB RC (18.0 m / 3.0 sd), Flint (Judge's Choice w/ 6th fleece), Doenutte, Buttercup, etc. Our offspring with Constantino and Snowmass RRoyal Fox combined are beyond what we hoped for...these lines nick very well every time producing very uniformly fine, non-medullated fleeces on correct frames with beautiful type. The first thing you'll notice about Charity is her truly text book conformation and her huge volume of fleece that is very soft with little to no visible guard hair. From her sire and dam she has a people-friendly personality to boot. We have seen white markings on extremities on other alpacas from the famous P. Misty Maiden line when they are bred to dark and gray sires. Charity has black eyeliner and black markings on her ears. These are the some of the best bloodlines in our herd for fleece quality and yield, correct and balanced conformation, lactation and even temperaments. The Isabelle (Gr. Dam) line has also produced mostly females for us and two of the males are Res. Champ. and Judge's Choice winners. Paternal Brother, Graphite - 1st Futurity 2012! Paternal Sister, Reyna - 1st Alpacapalooza 2012! Charity's family tree contains numerous famous alpacas including: 4P Black Magic (Stachowski's), P. Desert Sun, P. Misty Maiden, P. Bueno, P. Casanova, the incredible Snowmass Royal Bronze (Sold at the 2011 Snowmass auction for $78k.) and his dam Snowmass' P. Rosa Royal. Charity and Mercy are unrelated to Hemingway and all Accoyo bloodlines.

Love this female...excellent producer too. Mar. 2012 Histogram: the highest bars on the graph are 14 - 17 microns...thank you daddy Fox! Very healthy, sound, calm, sweet and energetic with excellent phenotype, correct conformation and movement. Her fleece exhibits amazing density and uniformity (it only lacks a lower SD) which is consistent with her champion and blue ribbon parents of full Peruvian heritage and it exhibits the characteristics of the Columbia sheep type. Her fleece type is not bundled, but just a one continuous solidly closed fleece. (Note: alpacas with this fleece type are at greater risk of heat stress and need to be managed accordingly.) When I part her fleece there is a wavy aligned crimp along the staple, but the individual fibers have a crimp frequency averaging 9 - 10 crimps per inch and the primaries are also very nicely crimped. The only visible guard hairs on her second blanket are sparse ones on the edges of her belly and apron. Her neck and lower leg fleece are shorter, like a vicuna, which allows the majority of her fiber-growing energies to go into her blanket. Faith is a product of our efforts to produce some top quality alpacas that are unrelated to many common, popular bloodlines as well as to ultilize the more highly scrutinized 4P, 5P and 6P imports, the later of which had to pass the most stringent selection criteria of all importations. Faith's sire line goes back to Snowmass' 4P Andean Gold and the rest of her ancestors hail from the 1998 Peruvian importation, so she is unrelated to many great grey bloodlines and all Accoyo lines. Peruvian Heritage (coops and regions): Alianza, Condorsenca, Hauycho, Macusani, Machacoyo, Pinaya, Santa Rosa. There's no denying the superior fleece genetics of a top quality Peruvian.

Congratulations and thank you to Jay Albrecht on his purchase of Allegiance. "Allie" has at least nine champion and blue ribbon parents, grandparents and great grandparents and comes from the best overall producers in our herd. We may have to keep this one as she's very much foundation quality. She will be a reliable producer of ribbon winners. Allie looks like what we want every black alpaca to look like...typey and correct with full coverage. She's a beautiful girl with a uniform, fine, high frequency crimped fleece skin to tip. Allie has excellent structure, proportions and conformation, phenotype, uniformity and coverage and she's very sweet. Allie's sire is the 2010 AOBA Gray Male Composite Champion, Snowmass RRoyal Fox. Ashlee was her dam's 13th cria. Our Trufflina line (Sire: P. Andrajo - an Alianza male imported along with Bueno and Hemingway, etc.) originally owned by Foxglove Farms (retired), then Misty Ridge Alpacas, both in WA.) has been one of our most successful bloodlines as it has been for many other farms, large and small. ATV Addonnis came from this bloodline. Adorable Ashlee is maturing into a beautiful young hembra and is ready to become a mama. Her fleece is uniform, long and dense with a nice handle. The strong crimp character is maintaining each year. Constantino (1/2 brother) - Alpacapalooza Color Champion, LF Carmelina (3/4 related) - Alpacapalooza Reserve Color Champion, solid MRG Primo - (1/2 brother) - Blue Ribbon fleece (M. 2018 cria is a fine, crimpy and silky maroon female by Constantino named Merlowe. Histogram of MSG daughter American Dream (purchased by Delphi Alpacas): AFD 13.9 m / S D 3.1 / 22.1 CV / 0.3 >30 Wow. Sired by our Patriot. Pretty "Kate" is our best gray female. She inherited the best traits from her famous gray bloodlines of Peruvian Black Epic (gray dam), Snowmass Royal Bronze (RRoyal Fox's sire), Peruvian Casanova and Aussie Rockford. She has an advanced gray fleece...very uniform in fineness and color, long staple length, high frequency crimp, density w/ low SD and great length), complete coverage, beautiful phenotype in adulthood, correct conformation, proportions and movement. Kate's tui fleece couldn't be shown because it was damaged after shearing...turned into a bed by our Great Pyrenees who broke into the area where fleeces were stored. Sire is our stunning, full Peruvian, Snowmass RRoyal Fox, the 2010 AOBA Gray Male Composite Champion sired by Snowmass Royal Bronze and out of a Snowmass Peruvian Casanova daughter who produced three Futurity winners. Her dam is our beautiful Black Epic's Journie, who in several shows never left the ring without a ribbon thanks to her very fine, crimpy and abundant fleece. Journie is extremely typey and is a rare gray offspring of Hobby Horse's Peruvian Black Epic, the most famous true black sire in the country out of 5P Klassique Grey and by 4P Black Magic. Journie's gray dam is an Aussie Rockford (famous gray stud that needs no introduction) daughter out of PLA's Silver Empress, dam of the famous black Michelangelo. I bought my first alpacas from PLA...Pine Lake Alpacas (retired) one of the first alpaca farms in the country.

2012 AOBA AUCTION - SOLD. Grateful thanks to Pat Till and family, Dusk Till Dawn Alpacas in IA. FIRST PLACE, HALTER - ALPACAPALOOZA 2012...with a very damp fleece. Half brother, Graphite - 1st Futurity 2012! Eleven to 18 microns are the eight highest bars on the histogram graph for her March 2012 mid-side sample (about one inch of cria tips cut off sample). With an SD of 4.1, those eight microns (11 m to 18 m) represent close to two standard deviations, or about two-thirds of the fibers tested in the sample submitted. The graph also shows 5% of fibers at 11 microns...significantly more than her siblings. She is amazingly fine and is on a normal diet (pasture, o. grass, alfalfa, pelleted supplement). (Hint: View fleece photo at smaller size for a realistic idea of her fleece's character.) Reyna's fleece exhibits very well-defined crimp character skin to uncut cria tip with outstanding density, uniformity, length, brightness and a silky handle. Reyna has lots of substance, correct phenotype and conformation and complete coverage, long staple length and a beautiful head with spear-shaped ears and an overflowing topknot. Born at 18.5 pounds, up and nursing in minutes and running around the pastures all afternoon. MRG ALPACAPALOOZA CHAMPION DAM, Miss Liberty, a Premier's Absolute daughter. MSG AOBA COMPOSITE CHAMPION SIRE (3rd fleece!), Snowmass RRoyal Fox, son of royal-fine Snowmass Royal Bronze and a Casanova daughter who produced 3 Futurity winners. RRoyal Fox's 5th fleece placed first (over the adult halter class first place winner at 2 years younger), at Alpacapalooza 2012. Her grandsires are Snowmass Royal Bronze (14.9 / 2.9 / 19.5 / 0.2 ...second shearing) and Premier's Absolute. Reyna is better than her dam and as good as her sire. I couldn't have asked for a better result from her champion parents. She has "it" and will be a super star in any gray program.

She has a truly wonderful pedigree filled with quality alpacas, many whom we have owned. She has excellent conformation and phenotype, complete coverage and a nicely dense fleece with aligned crimp character, brightness, soft handle and complete coverage. She descends from the famous lineages of: "the man" P. BUENO (white), and his son Snowmass' CASANOVA (gray), Andean Bronze and P. ROYAL BRONZE, P. GUELLERMO, 5P Camelot, 4P Black Magic, our own AOBA blue ribbon Megabuck Mink (gray dam 6P Dona Jacira), and Patagonia's Compadre. She has nearly all black, gray and maroon immediate ancestors. Astute breeders know the consistent quality in the alpacas with these names behind them. She is unrelated to all Accoyo lines so she is a great prospect for colored sires with Accoyo backgrounds.

Congratulations and thank you to Jay Albrecht on his purchase of Secret. One word for Secret...UNIFORMITY. Beautiful Secret is blossoming into a "mini-me" of her sire and strong traits from her maternal Alpacas de la Patagonia heritage from her dam's side...both genetically potent for conformation, uniformity, character and lingering fineness. Her conformation, proportions, balance and coverage are excellent and the color is a mostly pigmented steel grey with almost no guard hair. The fleece character is uniform across the blanket and down the legs. It's very fine, bright and crimpy; very silky soft with very good density. She has a beautiful head, short spear-shaped ears, deep chest, good bone size, solid topline, very straight and evenly spaced legs front and rear. Secret is a farm favorite with her silly antics, sweet personality and great looks. Her sire is a gray national champion from Snowmass. Dam: Trufflina - RIP_deleted
"At this time, we are not interested in selling Truffles. She has been a wonderful producing dam for us, and no matter who we breed her to, she has an outstanding offspring." - 11/1/16 from Nancy. Sold to Alpaca Country Estates. Silvie was bred to .38 Special son, U.S. Steel! Her U.S. Steel cria, Estates Silver Titan, placed second at CABA 2014! Silvie is so incredibly smart. At the auction, with people constantly coming into the pen, she began to move into position automatically for people to see her fleece. Gray breeders have commmented that she is a beautiful female with a beautiful fleece. Her fleece exhibits excellent character tail to ears...fineness, crimpy primaries, color, density, brightness, long staple, a soft handle and an absence visible guard hair. She always runs to greet me, is very smart and sweet and she likes to be with people. Yocum-McColl told me that her fleece is a rare, true (pigmented) gray and very nice, long, fine and silky. Her paternal sister, Reyna (MSG @ 15.6 m), placed first at Alpacapalooza '12 and is also in the AOBA auction. They are Fox's two best gray daughters so far. Her sire, Snowmass RRoyal Fox (2010 AOBA Gray Composite Champion), is from Snowmass' Royal Bronze and Casanova bloodlines. He's a full Peruvian with '98 imported true black and maroon granddams, so he's unrelated to all other gray bloodlines! Silvie's dam produced multiple champion and blue ribbon winners. Her third fleece earned a blue ribbon over Futurity champion P. Microsoft in 2000 under judge Julie Skinner. She was the best daughter of P. Andrajo (Alianza sire of Mr. Roosevelt who sired Crescent Moon's Donato) and consistently put 3/4 to 1 pound / day on her crias with high IgGs (2000-3000+). Silvie was her dam's 12th cria. Her 3/4 maternal sister is Carmelina, a Res. Champ. Her maternal brother is Constantino, our Champion who won blue and purples for 5 years and produced our Casimiro, a TB Res. Champ. - 18 m / 3.0 sd / 16.7 cv. Her pedigree is consistent for maintaining phenotype, quality fleece and fineness beyond five years. Paternal Brother, Graphite - 1st Futurity 2012! Paternal Sister, Reyna - 1st Alpacapalooza 2012!

Service Sire: KCAF Patriot
"Lily" has been bred her to Patriot for a 2017 cria. These two alpacas have pedigrees that are long proven to have great synergy...the combination of famous alpaca P. Bueno and P. Guellermo, P. Andrajo, Patagonia's Compadre and Michelangelo (TB) to the names below from Lily's pedigree. Lily and Patriot are unrelated to Accoyo and Hemingway lines...outcross opportunity! "Lily" is super smart, people-friendly and will entertain you with her antics. She is denser, finer and crimpier than her dam and her fineness is "lingering". She has great conformation and movement. On her pedigree you'll find many famous vivid true blacks, silver gray and rich maroons, all with very fine-fleeces...and of course the most overall successful, P. Bueno. Lily's pedigree combines famous ancestors mainly from the Snowmass and Stachowski breeding programs. Her sire is the Snowmass 2010 AOBA gray male composite champion. Service Sire: Snowmass RRoyal Fox
We knew with her pedigree that Starry would be an excellent brood female and that she is, having easily produced two beautiful daughters (one silver, one black) from her first two breedings. Starry's 2016 cria is another female (Tiara). This time black with excellent conformation and a dense, bright and crimpy true black fleece. Starry's first cria is KCAF Silver Rayne, now owned by Lona Frank of ATV. Fox adds P. Bueno to Starry's Guellermo heritage...two lines known to nick very well and Silver Rayne is turning out very nice. Starry is a solid, reliable, easy to keep production female with deep black and gray genetics (P. Guellermo, 4P Black Magic, 5P Camelot, Patagonia's Compadre). She has very good coverage, correct conformation and movement and a bright nicely dense fleece with a soft handle. She has a calm temperament, is easy to manage, breeds and births easily and is a great mother with plenty of milk.

Dam: High Point Invincible's Brentina
Looking for a retirement home for Pearl and some of her herdmates as they retire over the next couple years. (FYI: No cost...just take good care of them.) Pearl's dam, Brentina, was in the ARI EPD Top 1% for Fleece Weight, ranked 101 out of 27776. Pearl is nearly a carbon copy of her dam in all respects. The silk handle, long staple, and high-gloss brightness on both of their fleeces is also exceptional. AOBA Blue Ribbon LB Sire and 3x Champion dam (from 3 shows). Pearl's fineness and weight of her second fleece is on par with the same age fleeces from my champion males. She's a fleece machine, just like her dam. At 3 months of age, I sheared a 2 lb. blanket from her and 12 months later her her unskirted blanket weighed 4.8 pounds. Pearl is almost a mirror image of her champion dam. Her fleece exhibits extreme traits for: long staple length, luminous brightness and a very silky handle along with corrugated crimp and excellent drape. Her 3x champion dam produced a 5 1/2 pound blanket (unskirted, firsts only) in 2010. And, also just like her 3x champion "white" dam, Pearl has very fine fawn fibers throughout her fleece, so we are breeding both of them for color. Pearl has correct conformation and a wonderful, sweet disposition. She's very robust with good conformation and bite. She grew up very fast thanks to her dam's copious milk supply. Her lineage: Accoyo Caligula Accoyo Legacy Accoyo Victor Peruvian Hemingway 5P Dom Alamir Peruvian Aladdin Snowmass Invincible Snowmass Legacy Gold On her maternal side you'll also find famous dams: Snowmass' Jesusa, Maree Love, Lace, Neve's Lua and P. Ayaviri, all known for their top quality and high-selling production.

Dam: Cocoa Truffle (Compadre/Guellermo)
Service Sire: Snowmass RRoyal Fox
We love our beautiful and elegant Bon Bon. She is one of our kid's favorites. It's interesting how they know the good ones. Her pedigree is rock solid with award-winning black and gray bloodlines known for quality fleece, soundness and productivity. She's very people friendly, playful and too smart! She hit the ground at 21 pounds and stood up at a little over ten minutes old! She gained 1/2 pound per day. Fully grown, she is average size. Bon Bon inherited the best from parents. Her fleece is a deep black with a very silky handle, is very bright, perpetually very fine with good density and aligned medium crimp and a long staple length. She has good coverage and very minimal guard hair. Her conformation, movement, proportions and bite are excellent. She needs no further improvement in her conformation and substance. We used to own 4P Lanarks Locota (LF) and 6P Dona Jacira (MSG), both possessed excellent health, structure and dense, fine silky fleeces. Pedigree includes Patagonia's Compadre and P. Guellermo. Her black parents and her grey full brother have produced 4 to 4 1/2 lb. *adult* blankets in the 25 micron range (27 is average for adult huacaya per Dr. Escobar's book) with longer than average staple length and exceptional handle. Her full brother is our award-winning Silver Dust and her 3/4 brother is our Patriot who placed a close 2nd at AWE behind Patagonia. Bon Bon outdoes herself every time when bred to our Snowmass RRoyal Fox. (Her dam gave us herdsire quality sons Silver Dust and Patriot.) Her three crias by Fox (Gallant, Ebony and Calumet) are healthy and correct, typey with very dense, fine, crimpy, very bright and extremely silk-soft black fleeces. Gallant is definitely herdsire quality. (NOTE: Name in the ARI database is Constantino's Bon Bon. If certificate is transferred, we'll make the change to KCAF Megabuck's Bon Bon.)

Dam: 7057 Peruvian Zarzamora

I am humbled and fortunate to own this very typey Peruvian hembra. I wish I had a whole herd like her. When I saw her blurry Jan 06 sale photo I knew she was something very special..a perfect head, the slight curve in her neck, the topline and rounded rump, low tail set, deep chest, huge body capacity and blanket area, uniform color, density, fineness, character...all exemplified a textbook alpaca. One exception: she's my tallest female by 2-3", but all of her offspring are average sized. Maroon Monaco has a blanket weight very close if not the same to my whites, Pearl, and her 3x champion dam, Brentina (ARI EPD 1% club for fleece weight). She has very strong protection / survival instincts and is very expressive, yet is very tractable and easy to handle. She shows constant concern for others, alpacas and people alike. She passed our detailed selection criteria and was purchased to be one of our top foundation females. She blossomed slowly and year after year has maintained the exceptional qualities that earned her a blue ribbon from judge Safley. All four of her fawn colored grandparents are from the last, most stringent '98 importation and different regions. She's a full Peruvian with outcross vigor. (No Accoyo.) Her breeder, other breeders, her veterinarians and breeder/judge Mike Safley have all commented on her outstanding qualities. Offspring: 07: P. Lady Grace - By P. Tacitus; 2350 IgG; 1st place VAOBA, SOLD to Catalpa Creek Alpacas. 08: Triumph - Non-fading TB by P. Incantation, very typey and pure black all over. 09: Christina - maroon foundation female by our Constantino; she's a top producer. 10: P. RRoyal Faith - super dense and typey DSG F by our AOBA champion, Snowmass RRoyal Fox. 11: P. RRoyal Marquis - uniform royal fine maroon M by Snowmass RRoyal Fox. 12: Concordia - gorgeous dark maroon F by our Casimiro. 13: Prince of Monaco - DSG M by Rincon Cloud. 15: Exotique - F. very dark maroon/black (like her maternal gr.sire), by Constantino (LF). Some breeders admit, "Sometimes it's the dam you want." and finding a stud to significantly improve Monaco is a good problem to have. Her fleece is as good as our best herdsires. I wish I had lots more just like her.

Dam: KCAF Christina
Died in 2019 after we sold her, likely due to grazing on too much fresh pasture after being on dry lot.. Notable...13, 14 and 15 microns are by far the highest bars on her first histogram graph. And, her regrowth is staying the same. Beautiful Radinka ("active one") is the fourth cria produced by Christina and Fox who just have a nack for producing high frequency crimp in their offspring and interestingly, it was even reflected in the EPDs before the we submitted our herd's data. Besides being typey and adorable and full of personality, "Dinkers" fleece is extremely fine with very high frequency crimp. Looking at her first histogram there are about 48% of fibers between 11 and 15 microns. The SD is way too high though (common in grays) so she'll be bred to a herdsire with a very low SD. Still, her fleece has a wonderfully soft, supple and smooth handle. Sept. 2016 I pulled a few fiber from her side and measured mostly twelve crimps per inch, with some at 10 cpi. The 10-12 cpi is consistent on every fiber, even primaries. Radinka's full sister, Kristiana, was in the 2015 EPD 1% club for MC (mean curvature)...before we sent in our herd's data. Radinka's mostly Peruvian pedigree includes all of the best producers from our herd: Constantino, Trufflina, Andrajo, Christina, Lady Monaco. Her gray ancestory hails from Snowmass Peruivan Casanova, Snowmass Royal Bronze and best ever, Peruvian Bueno. She is unrelated to all other gray lines and all the Accoyos.

Dam: Silver Lining's Pakoa
Service Sire for 2025 cria is FDA Sensational Starstruck by CCNF Leviathan. 2025...Mellona still has an incredibly, uniformly fine fleece finer that some crias. Uniform fineness and character, greatly increased crimps per inch, sound conformation, correct phenotype and calm temperament. Her dam, Pakoa, was an extremely fine true black. 14 m tui fleece and the curve on her next histogram increased to 63 (16 m / 4 sd)! Mellona is a compact female and is co-owned with Sonshine Alpacas. We call her our "dryer lint" girl because of her fineness. She has a silly personality like her sire and an incredibly fine fleece...inherited from both parents. You'll be challenged to find a finer gray fleece with a high degree of curvature...lingering even at nine years old.

Sells with a breeding to gray national composite champion, Snowmass RRoyal Fox. And we already know that breeding Constantino daughters to Fox easily produces super nice crias. Glory's parents are both champions too. Her pedigree is deep with quality award-winners. Glory's dam and Fox produced Reyna who is a blue ribbon winner and sold at the AOA auction for $16k! Glory is quite the lady with her muffin head topknot and elegant conformation. She's a rich cinnamon color with good fineness and density, and high frequency crimp at the skin after shearing 2016. She also has very long staple length. Glory's pedigree includes Premier's Absolute, Peruvian Guellermo (Huarapina) and Peruvian Andrajo (Alianza). She is unrelated to all Accoyo lines.

She can sell with a breeding to Snowmass RRoyal Fox! 2018 male, fawn cria. She's a big girl and not the sweetest in the herd when she's pregnant, but she has a solid pedigree, is an easy breeder / birther, takes great care of the crias and makes nice babies. "Amber" (co-owned) is a maternal half sister to El Nino's Golden Legend. She is a large and robust proven female. Her pedigree is perfect to match with our Snomwass RRoyal Fox and includes the legendary P. Guellermo (Huarapina), then Accoyos Camilio and Pluro, and Alianza Hemingway. Her lovely rose gray dam, Sophia, produced the famous El Nino's Golden Legend (standing stud at Delphi Alpacas). Tesla's pedigree includes Patagonia’s Danko (gray, 2x @ 25%), Patagonia’s Lennox and she is an Accoyo Yupanqui granddaughter. Dam: ATV Delite
Peace has excellent fineness, length and density for a black alpaca which she inherited from both of her top quality parents. She had the tell-tale wrinkles all the way up the back of her neck after we sheared her at two months old. Every offspring from her dam, ATV Delite, has ridiculously density and passed that trait on to her two previous crias, Adoration and Felecity. who both won ribbons at competitive shows. Peace is from two black parents with fine, crimpy, very dense, silky fleeces. Peace inherited density, character, extreme uniform fineness, very long staple length and silky handle along with strong conformation. She has many award winning relatives in black, gray and fawn. We love her pedigree and look forward to her crias.

Dam: AMBIANCE'S MARCELLA
Service Sire: Snowmass RRoyal Fox
We purchased our very first alpacas from Pine Lake Alpacas (now retired) who bred Sophia. When we met her dam Marcella (an own Guellermo daughter) as a yearling in early 1998, we were blown away by her...drop-dead stunning with a huge volume of fleece. Sophia produced the famous Golden Legend who is now owned by Delphi Alpacas. Her full brother is Equinox Eternix who won multiple championships and sold for $73,000. We are so happy to have Sophia with us for what we hope will be her last couple crias and especially that we have a Snowmass gray champion P. Bueno descendant in AOBA Composite champion Snowmass RRoyal Fox...who has "lingering" non-medullated (all fibers have similar crimp) royal fineness with great density with pigmented gray, true black and maroon color genetics. These lineages produce top quality when combined. Sophia is in excellent shape and has a lovely demeanor. Stay tuned!

RETIRED. Golden Mist is a beautiful, very solid, proven Champion dam who has produced superior crias. She has Snowmass on her paternal side and Bolivian Mocha as her maternal grandsire. See daughters: Champagne Mist and Velvet Mist, both have exquisite fleeces. In 2017, she gave birth to a stunning fawn male, "Gabriel", by Irish Meadows Carbon Copy. Unfortunately, we lost him as a young cria to illness. 2018...true black female sired by AOBA nationals composite champion Snowmass RRoyal Fox. From Moonshadow Alpacas: "Moonshadow's Golden Mist is the combination of Snowmass Golden Victory, with incredibly fine, dense fleece and Madonna, who maintained her buttery soft handling fleece her entire life. When Golden Mist was born, she had the most amazing fleece! It has been described as spectacular by others who have seen it and felt it. Golden Mist has inherited the absolutely best qualities from each of her parents. Her fleece is as bright as can be, dense and has a feel you just want to sink your hands into and bury your face in! In today's extremely competitive alpaca market, for those looking to produce lasting elite quality fleece Mist has all you could want in a high end foundation dam. Golden Mist competed in extremely competitive fawn classes in her 2 years of showing. The judges consistently recognized her fleece for the brightness, handle and staple length. In her yearling classes, she has been commended for her overall beautiful phenotype, size and balance for the perfect breeding female. She has inherited generations of proven quality in fleece and genetics. She possesses the quality the alpaca industry is striving for! Golden Mist is now a proven dam, proving her ability to produce elite quality offspring. For her second cria, Golden Mist was bred to our super fine Sire, Matrix Principe. This combination of Victory's genetics and Principe's Matrix line has been a very successful mix for Snowmass Alpacas. When choosing a Sire to add to our breeding program we were looking for a male who could improve on these fabulous Victory girls we've produced. This pairing produced a phenomenal female, who truly displays the best both these parents had to offer! Golden Mist has definitely proven her capacity to produce elite fibered offspring. Her sale will include a breeding to any Moonshadow Herdsire. If you get your hands on her 2014 cria, you will totally understand why we couldn't resist a repeat!"

Service Sire for 2025 cria is FDA Sensational Starstruck by CCNF Leviathan. Tragically, that gorgeous 2017 gray F cria was killed by a predator. From the looks of the injury, probably by a large bird of prey who perhaps thought she was a big rodent (being gray). This was our first predator loss in 20+ years. Glory is a stunning hembra with textbook phenotype and she's a fleece machine! GG's dam line was one of Moonshadow's most successful lines. GG's pedigree contains the famous Accoyo / Allianza cross. This lovely maternal sister to Supernova's Quattro is retaining her stunning vicuna-like looks. From Moonshadow Alpacas: "Golden Treasure is a beautiful proven female. She is extremely dense with a very soft handling fleece. Daughter of Snowmass Golden Victory, she has inherited an incredible package of genetics and fiber quality. Her dam is no slouch either and has produced high quality offspring, to include CAR Supernova's Quattro, an elite Herdsire standing stud at Stachowski Alpacas. Golden Treasure brings tons of opportunity to any high quality breeding program. Her entire family tree is loaded with proven quality genetics of elite fiber production. At NW Alpaca Showcase, Judge Wade Gease loved her phenotype, density and overall consistency of her fleece. Treasure has only been shown a few times, but has placed in each extremely competitive show. Golden Treasure was bred to Snowmass Matrix Principe for her first breeding. We purchased Snowmass Matrix Principe from Snowmass specifically to put over our Golden Victory females. Julie Skinner recommended the Matrix lines to cross with the Royal Challenger line as that has been some of their best! This pairing produced a beautiful super fine female, Princess. For a first time mom, Treasure was a natural, easy birth, plenty of milk and great mothering instincts. Treasure brings great qualities to any high end breeding program. On top of everything, Treasure is just such an easy keeper, easy to handle and mellow in the herd, plus she is a very pretty stylish female."

Deceased 9/21/2019 - Intestinal blockage. Saylene attended one show as a juvie and stood in second place behind a beige from Crescent Moon. Are you looking for a beautiful light fawn female with a fawn and black, rock solid, all-star pedigree? Her fleece is uniform, fine, bright, with a very long staple, crimp skin to tip and a very silky handle. She is also sweet with an even disposition, like both of her parents. Her sire Patriot, is champion sired and from Alianza, Guellermo and Patagonia lines. Patriot produced a five pound blanket, and a 13 micron gray daughter named American Dream, who now resides at Delphi Alpacas. Dam is one of our top producers by Snowmass Matrix's Principe and her dam's dam is sired by Snowmass Golden Victory and out of Zephyr who produced Supernova's Quattro. Sire is from Alianza, Macusani and Patagonia lines with Guellermo. Saylene's pedigree contains generations of top quality and is perfect and ready to breed to more Snowmass lines.

Typey head, short muzzle with depth of jaw, long staple neck fiber, correct conformation and an even disposition. We're thinking she needs to stay here to be bred to Shaddow and Jive Talkin.

Dam: NPA Fiona
Service Sire: Snowmass RRoyal Fox
Miss Congeniality's 2024 blanket fleece weighs a whopping 6 pounds making her the highest yielding daughter from her sire. She and her dam are quality stud hembras...high-quality producing dams that can consistently "criate" stud quality sons. Miss Congeniality is completely adorable with a short muzzle and fully covered head. Her frame is correct and compact. She has a soft, dense, crimpy, uniform fleece and a calm temperament, even when pregnant. At shearing time this year (2024), she's one of those alpacas with a blanket staple length that far exceeds the rest of the fleece...making her look like a wine barrel on legs. See auction catalog for '24 pre-shearing photo (sheared 6/5/24). Miss Congeniality and her pedigree are perfect breeding to MSG and nationals Composite Champion Snowmass RRoyal Fox who is at the top 2% for AFD in the EPDs. 2023 maiden breeding: 8/11/23; settled with one mating. (Her dam and maternal brother are maroons and both have produced classic grays.) Fox has been here for most of his soon to be 17 years...he looks great and acts like he's 12. His crias are healthy with uniformity for: fineness/character/color; tight crimp; silky softness and little to no guard hair so the fleeces barely need any skirting. They also have goofy personalities, are alert and intelligent with even dispositions and are reliable producers and very easy to manage. Sire, Majestic Peruvian Champ (Jumanji son with Royal Fawn, MF champion; 1st at Futurity 2x) produced a 7 pound blanket (14 pounds total) when he arrived here at six years old. His EPD for FW is 2.866%. Dam, Fiona, is a maroon (Paso Robles, Matrix, Sizlin, Dom Timbo) and one of my best producers. She has six EPD traits inside 3 to 18%. Also on the farm are siblings, a TB sister named Eclipse who has great EPDs and last year produced a classic MSG with Fox, named Granite, and her maternal brother, Jive Talkin', who is also a maroon and one of my best producing herdsires...see his son Rocky (Out of a fawn Fox daughter - classic MRG - 2nd at both CABA and AWE in 2024 in his unshorn cria fleece). 7/16/24 MB male cria born; unassisted; excellent mothering skills. He's full Peruvian and very typey nose to rump to toes...wedge-shaped head and short muzzle with depth of jaw, short ears, rump with low tail set, thick cria fleece with royal fineness, uniform fineness; uniform color, complete coverage, perfect proportions with level topline, deep chest, correct legs. Note his pedigree has several colored ancestors from the most stringent 6P importation. Rebred to Fox for 2025.

Dam: KCAF Imogene
Service Sire: FDA Sensational Starstruck
Service sire for 2025 cria is our FDA Sensational Starstruck by CCNF Leviathan. Isla Mae and both of her parents have high definition lingering fleeces. (They are fully mature and have fleeces as good as yearlings.) Her entire pedigree is packed top to bottom with heavy hitters. She's from two of our best. Isla's fleece is growing in amazingly nice. Her dam has a very dense, fine, tightly crimped fleece and take a look at the fleeces her sire is producing on his page. Silver Troy will be her first breeding to increase bone, fleece coverage, improve rear leg angulation, and add more solid gray genetics and it's already known that their lines nick really well.

Dam: KCAF It's A Secret

Dam: Trufflina - RIP_deleted
RIP 9/11/2019, due to complications from arthritis and pain medication. He was regal to his last day. Breeders describe their Constantino line as their very best...PRODUCERS!!! 15 years ago the judges called him the "future of the industry" and they were right. In 2016 two of his juvie sons, Bonafide (LB) and Travelin' Man (BB), earned 1st FFH in very competitive classes. Tino's show career lasted 5 years and he successfully competed with the best in the country. His fleece stats for fineness and weight from 12+ years ago are on par with today's show winners. Tino's fleece took four years to increase one point for Standard Deviation...on a hig plain of nutrition. Tino's 19m /17 CV super dense cria fleece never collected debris; 9 - 10 crimps per inch in '03 and '04. Shearing Tino's first two fleeces was difficult. They were so dense, fine and slick that his skin got pulled into the blades several times. JUDGE'S 2004 Halter Champion COMMENTS: "FUTURE OF THE INDUSTRY", "consistently the finest of his competitors, outstanding fleece character & handle", "extremely fine and dense for his age" (AWE 05, Krieger, 33 mos.), "largest testicles, strength and structure, ability to move out freely, correct proportions and a well-conditioned fleece." Superb phenotype; even temperament; strong libido/early maturation; heavy lactation too! Tino placed in halter and fleece, above award-winning sons of both Accoyo Royal Fawn and Accoyo Legacy...two record high-selling herdsires, Running Late and others. OFFSPRING AWARDS (Not a complete list): Summer Ember (BB) - 4x champion, CC 7th fleece! Daughter by Deacon Grey- CC fleece. Gray daughter Elphi RC at The Futurity. Flint (MF) - Judge's Choice w/ 5th fleece! Constantina (LF) - Sold, Produce of dam winner; Champion BB son by Rincon, blue ribbon MRG daughter by Deacon Grey. NEVADO (W) - Sold, 7 Ribbons from 2 Shows; 6# prime @ 8 mo...not a typo. Chocolate Porter (Maroon) - Sold, Multi. Blue ribbon winner! Casimiro (TB) - Yearling Res. Champ: 18.0/3.0/16.7cv. Christina (Maroon) - 1st fleece, our top producer. Bonafide - 1st, 2016 (sold). Travelin' Man - 1st, 2016 Last crias... Mercy, born 2016 Merlot, born 2017 Rosetta, born 2017.

Dam: SCA Apollo's Peruvian Pegasus
Teo is a medium fawn roan. He's gorgeous, but isn't going to have the degree of density required to be a first string herdsire. He strongly resembles his dam, has nice conformation, excellent phenotype and fleece character and a great disposition. His younger full brother is WhorlAway.
Sold
Dam: Mystic Meadows Peruvian Lady Monaco
Triumph is beautiful in conformation, type and color. He's a full Peruvian from two blue ribbon parents. His fleece character is uniform across his blanket and a crimpy, non-fading deep true black color all over his body. However, he's not the finest or most dense black male we have, so we will use him selectively for genetic diversity to further infuse non-fading, true black color, correct type and the wonderful 4P Black Magic line into our herd. Note: We do not practice nor do we promote breeding for extreme density because it creates increased health risks with heat stress in the spring prior to shearing, as well as mildew problems in the fleece from sweating. Clear, sunny spring days really heat up those full fleeces and the alpacas want to be out in the pastures munching up that new spring grass! Remember, quality alpaca fleece has exceptional heat retention. We have seen and heard of the detrimental effects of too many alpacas and fleeces from heat stress, including top-tier prize white males going sterile, so...that's our two cents. ;>) If sold, we will retain a few breedings. [Named after my late father's 1947 Triumph motorcycle.]

Dam: Mystic Meadows Peruvian Lady Monaco
We got what we were hoping for with this one. Gray color and pattern from his sire, Rincon Cloud, and his mom's blue ribbon density, phenotype and structure right down to his short muzzle, sloped rump and deep chest. We can't wait to see him mature and start breeding our gray Snowmass RRoyal Fox daughters. He's unrelated to most of our herd. These lines have nicked really well for us so far, producing some of our very best. See paternal half sister, our lovely Nova Rosa (MRG) and maternal siblings: Christina, Triumph, Faith and Concordia.

Dam: Megabuck's Bon Bon
"Cal" is a very spunky pet quality male. He's correct and straight with full coverage at birth. Up and literally running around at 30 minutes old. He has a very dense, bright and crimpy black fleece. Mostly true blacks and grays in his pedigree...Snowmass RRoyal Fox, Megabuck Mink, Dona Jacira, P. Guellermo, Michelangelo, Silver Empress, P. Casanova, Patagonia's Compadre, Caballero Adante.

Dam: Cholula
aka: "Rusty". Cute, healthy, straight and sound solid red-maroon male with an extremely fine and silky fleece. 2/28/13: Rusty is developing into a junior herdsire prospect. His fleece has that "Oh my gosh!" fineness, medium amplitude and frequency crimp and very good density, especially considering the uniformity of the fineness. His neck fiber is just as fine and more dense than the blanket with better defined crimp and bundling. He has excellent phenotype with depth of jaw, a text book bite and the ears and topknot I'd like to see on all my alpacas. Now for the wait...to see what he looks like by shearing day and then again a year later...and the histograms!

Dam: Megabuck's Bon Bon
Paternal brother, Graphite - 1st Futurity 2012! Paternal sister, Reyna - 1st Alpacapalooza 2012! Beautiful, correct, dense, fine, crimpy and silky little male with a vicuna phenotype out of Bon Bon and Snowmass RRoyal Fox. Very nice disposition. Full brother to Gallant. We're keeping our fingers crossed for a little sister!
Sold
Dam: Constantina
Dash is from two of our best alpacas and is being sold as a pet. Sadly, we lost his dam, Constantina (LF), post-surgery for a twisted intestine when Dash was a weanling. She missed her class as a yearling but went on to produce 5x champion Aston Martin by Rincon Cloud, blue ribbon winner Halaya Rose by Deacon Gray and a 2nd place produce of dam in a class of 16. Her full brother is handsome award-winner Chocolate Porter (maroon) who has produced some gorgeous offspring. Dash is a handsome male with a very soft and crimpy fleece and excellent coverage.
Sold
Dam: High Point Absolute's Miss Liberty
Junior herdsire prospect. Very woolly, fine and dense on arrival. Born the same day as Claresse's silver gray male, Stoke. These are our first two gray males by Fox. Spark's full sister, Reyna, sold at the 2012 AOBA auction.

Dam: KCAF Constantino's Buttercup
Tap Shoes keeps getting better. His 2015-2016 fleece is "wow"...super dense, tiny curls on the cut ends of minute bundles on the blanket and up the neck, aligned high definition crimp, long and bright. He has excellent phenotype and conformation as well. He is another example of the fantastic nick we get when we cross our Fox and Tino lines. (Admittedly, not all our past attempts at planned crosses have nicked well, so we're really pleased when we see the very best traits from both sides of the pedigree expressed so consistently with each cria! ) Tap Shoes spent Summers of 2014 and 2015 at the Everett Parks petting zoo with his related buddy Crusader. He's an excellent junior ambassador for alpacas with his correct phenotype and complete fleece coverage. His fleece is stunning with density, high definition crimp, high brightness, silky handle and length. If we (or anyone) could get something other than pintos when we breed our P. Misty Maiden ("Dam of the Century") bloodlines to dark or gray color genetics...oh well. They produce truly outstanding fawns from fawns, but when bred to gray and darker colors, they typically throw white on the head, neck and legs...with dark colored blankets of exceptional quality. The quality in dark fleece is there, even though they are technically "pintos". Bred back to fawns and solids, mostly solids are produced.

RIP 9/11/2019, due to complications from arthritis and pain medication. He was regal to his last day. Judge's comments: "Like Snowmass quality", "future of the industry", "the finest of his competitors, outstanding fleece character & handle", "extremely fine and dense for his age", "largest testicles, strength and structure, ability to move out freely, correct proportions and a well-conditioned fleece." Tino's 19m/17 cv, untrimmed cria fleece never collected debris (see photo in for sale listing)- solid density! 9 to 10 crimps per inch in 03 and 04; Superb phenotype; structure; proportions; movement; heavy bone; even temperaments; strong libido/early maturation; lg. testicles; heavy lactation; excellent coverage; uniformity; density; uniform fineness with tensile strength; crimp head to toes; high brightness; silky-soft handle; long staple; lack of medulation. Breeder's comments: "Wow", "Impressive", "Gorgeous crias" "Better than other farms." Our "breeder's market" guarantee: 90 Day Live AND Breeding Quality Cria. Explanation: If by chance you get a pet, you keep it and you get a free rebreeding! Breeders are so pleased with Tino's crias, they are retaining offspring and are doing repeat breedings! Tino's family tree consistently wins ribbons! See Trufflina, Nevado, Summer Ember, Chocolate Porter, Constantina, Lara Belle, Casimiro, Patriot and Claresse on AN. "Precious" (Gray!): 4th AWE 08, behind Rayo and Rincon offspring. Dam: Cocoa Truffle
Sire of Dixie, Starry, Betsy Ross and Mateo. Very sadly, a couple years ago Dusty got overheated (only 70 with strong sunshine and plenty of shade) the day before shearing. He sired one cria shortly thereafter and none since, so he's now for sale as a pet. We really need to think about breeding alpacas with too much density. Like his TB sire, Megabuck Mink in his first 4 years, Dusty's entire fleece shows no visible strong guard hairs, is silky-soft and fine, very long stapled and very bright with very good density; medium amplitude and frequency crimp; very abundant fiber coverage all the way around and down his perfect legs! We sheared Dusty's black cria tips at one month of age to reveal his silver dust...no spots! His fleece is becoming more dusted with silver as he matures. Dusty's parents have produced 4 lb. annual blankets (1sts only) and Dusty's 08 fleece is going to be huge! We still can't find a conformational fault on this male, teeth to toenails as the judge confirmed! Following in his parents footsteps, Dusty is robust and very healthy with large testicles, heavy bone and musculature, proportions and bite. Dusty is one of the smartest and easiest alpacas I know with a wonderfully calm and trusting dispostion. As a young cria, he let me run my hand down his leg without even a flinch. His solid pedigree is full of successful bloodlines in the showrings and the breeding pastures: Patagonia's Compadre/Caballero Adante, Michelangelo/P. Guellermo, 4Peruvian Lanark's Locota (see sold listings)/Megabuck Mink; champion uncle Constantino; and three gorgeous, successful and silver granddams: C&S Cookee, Silver Empress and 6Peruvian Dona Jacira (see sold listing).

You can't ask for better conformation or a better temperament and his fleece is uniform and soft. An alpaca "Star Packer" (a sheriff in the old west) wears his star in his topknot. He has blue ribbon parents and is 3/4's related to our champion, Constantino! Star Packer looks very handsome and masculine...beautiful head, perfect legs and movement, topline, bite alignment, ears, head, tail, teats (yes it matters, males can have nipple anomalies)and bulging muscles! He gained 24 lbs in his first month and 30 in his second month, tripling his birth weight in 2 mos. which is great. He's the 8th cria out of his dam and all of his siblings were born here. His fleece is extremely soft and shiney. His head is black and his cria tips were a medium maroon, but the fleece growing in since birth changed abruptly to a very dark brown interspersed with medium and light brown. There's no white yet, so I guess he can't be called a gray.

Honor is one handsome little dude. He is a full brother to Tap Shoes. His LF fawn dam and all of her LF female relatives...Isabelle, Pegasus and all the way back to the famous "dam of the century" P. R.I.P. Losing Megabuck was like losing a best friend. He had the energy and spirit of 10 alpacas yet always behaved like a gentleman for me. His lines will continue on our farm through his descendants. When Megabuck was used for breeding or behavior checks, his orgling would cause ALL the females in the pasture, irregardless of pregnancy status, to run up and gather around. They knew he was special too! As the oldest male he was alpha, but 95% of his life he was kept in the male herd. He was our veterinarian's favorite alpaca for his spirit, disposition / libido, very correct and robust conformation and silky six inch long crimpy, drapey true black non-fading fleece. ********************************************************************************************************************** If you have a female that needs bone and substance, uniformity and less guard hair, back and legs straightened, and depth of color infused...here's your stud!!! We're breeding his daughters to our Snowmass RRoyal Fox and getting beautiful offspring. Excellent breeder! Customers come back to do repeat breedings to Megabuck. Throws gray and lots of solid, non-fading, BRIGHT and SILKY solid true blacks. Many award-winning crias and grand-crias. Champion paternal brother Constantino! Thanks to his two remarkable parents, Locota and Jacira, Megabuck very consistently produces perfectly correct leg structure and movement, substance (robust, heavy bone and muscle and loads of fleece), desirable fleece traits (esp. crimpy primary fibers / lack of guard hair, luster, staple length, HANDLE!), wonderful spirited energy (vigor), and a respectful disposition in his crias. All have outstanding luster and silkiness, above average density, fineness, aligned crimp, long staple, very heavy bone and correct conformation and phenotype. Some of Megabuck's cria's fleeces are finer than their dams! He passes on his wonderful personality and vigor; very heavy bone and muscle; lg. testicles; wide, even leg spacing; correct bite, conformation (esp. legs!) & movement; coverage; crimp; staple length; density; bundles; silky handle; high luster; uniformity; crimpy primaries and fineness..low 20s AFDs and SDs in the 4s!

Handsome Granite has a champion Snowmass gray sire and top-knotch pedigree and is quite sweet and adorable. His fleece is uniform and a deeply pigmented gray / slate colored fleece. Winter 2023...his cria tips are still a little relaxed, but the crimp is starting to show promise at the skin. Excellent brightness and a silky, supple handle. Density looks good. When Granite was born I found his dam at dinner time having difficulty...uh-ooo...cria being born right before dusk. This boy was born backward...with the bottom of his back feet pointing up at the sky, so he was helped out...gently pushing one leg in to get the opposite leg out, then the other leg, then he slid right out..looking like he'd been in that position for his entire gestation. I swung him in a circle to remove fluids from his airways and with one month stall rest to help his legs he did the rest and is looking great. His dam was fine with just a little extra recovery time from the birth. His pedigree is loaded with top shelf genetics.

We'll miss this sweet, wonderful macho. His fleece was plush, fine at silky at 16 years old when he passed away. Oh so silky Casimiro "lingers" and still has one of the densest, finest, drapiest and silkiest dark fleeces I've ever seen. At our local fair, the men even ooo'd and ahh'd when they touched his fleece. This exceptional handle is partially explained with an initial histogram of 18.0 m and 3.0 cv, very low scale height, no medullation and a very supple drape. Casimiro progeny are all improvements over their dams. Breeding Guarantee: We consider a stud fee as an investment by the purchaser and we make sure you get something for your return. When you put trust in our breeding program, you can trust that you'll "get" a cria that you can breed (about a 60% chance with every breeding). If you get a pet (about a 40% chance with every breeding), then you get a rebreeding. We support our customers and we know what our studs can do. Casimiro's fleece style is the type that quality worsted fabric can be made from...outstanding SILKY-SOFT HANDLE, high medium amplitude crimp, LONG staple, UNIFORM FINENESS and COLOR, VERY BRIGHT, EXTREMELY DENSE, HIGH FREQUENCY / LOW AMPLITUDE CRIMP, NO GUARD HAIR in his entire blanket, EXTREME LEG COVERAGE, and correct PHENOTYPE. Healthy, typey, correct, energetic and nursing up a storm...48 hour IgG was 3062! This sweet alpaca's name means, "a leader at peace with himself and the world". His full siblings are our Claresse (DB), Buttercup (LF) and Sancho (W w/ fawn ears). Bloodlines: CP Black Hawk; P. Desert Sun, P. Misty Maiden, 4P Black Magic; Constantino, Trufflina, 4P Lanarks Locota. Peruvian Genetics: Alianza, Pinaya, Sollocota, Macusani, Malaquito.

2016: This 10 y.o. male's fleece is still so silky soft and long it could still be made into next to the skin garments. 2016 Up-to-date EPDs: Not bad for 9 years old (no offspring yet...we've been using his sire). AFD -1.744 0.409 735 of 21089 SDAFD -0.317 0.409 2994 of 21089 SF -1.795 0.441 700 of 21089 %F>30 -6.443 0.446 709 of 21089 MC 3.427 0.395 1590 of 21089 2012: 1st place fleece AND Judge's Choice Award in the D age class with his 5th fleece - 2012 Alpacapalooza and with 25% of the fleece skirted out due to rain damage. With his prepotent Alianza and Sollocota pedigree, Flint is a great herdsire prospect with an abundant, long and silky, incredibly soft and bright fleece as well as fantastic nationally recognized genetics. He has one of the most beautiful fleeces on the farm and he hands down gets the prize for "lingering" fleece. He has very good conformation, full coverage and a nice temperament. He is related to most of the herd, so he has not bred yet, but he is being held in reserve to follow in their sire's footsteps. He has bloodlines from famous alpacas: P. Andrajo, P. Misty Maiden, P. Desert Sun, and 4P black Magic. 2006-2007: 354 day gestation; 18 lb @ birth; 24 hr IgG: 2283; gaining 0.6 lb/day; very vigorous; strong and alert; has his dad's gorgeous dark eyes and perfect ears; correct bite; complete and abundant fleece coverage nose to toes on day one! His newborn cria fleece looks like it has been trimmed. It's incredibly bright, fine, dense and very long stapled with aligned medium amplitude and frequency crimp. Of special note is his very correct conformation and movement in all gates. His highly regarded Peruvian heritage includes Constantino's strong Alianza traits from his blue ribbon dam, and Isabelle's Sollocota qualities from the famous P. Misty Maiden and 4P Black Magic lines, along with two other very successful grandparents, 4P Lanarks Locota and P. Sweet dreams from the Malaquito and Macusani regions respectively, and who together produced Lanarks Chanel, a Futurity high-selling award winner.

Duke's 2014 fleece was sorted as grade 2 (two) by AFCNA. Duke earns himself a position on herdsire row for his Bolivian/Chilean heritage and his fleece's lingering crimp character and softness (6+ years) with minimal visible guard hair on a sturdy, correct frame with excellent type and temperament. Blues for halter and fleece at Alpacapalooza 2007 with four in the class in his third year winning ribbons. RC cria fleece at AWE show! At a herdsire review a few years ago, he was one of the finest, crimpiest mature blacks and his aligned crimp was still there in his sixth fleece. He has award-winning parents who nicked well to produce Duke's alpaca synergy! Duke has impressed many top judge's with his beautiful, typey head and physique, fluid movement in all gaits, a fleece that is remarkable in regards to uniformity and character into his extremities and amazing lack of guard hair. The handle...silky softness, suppleness and bundles with aligned, well-defined crimp of medium amplitude and frequency is there too...even in his fourth fleece! Correct phenotype, correct stance and bite, presence, substantial bone and muscle, average size, a well-mannered temperament, strong libido and correct testicles rounds out what this nice male has to offer. Six of the seven relatives in his pedigree are black and the other is DB/TB. Good pedigree productivity with multiple award-winning parents and other relatives.

Daughter KCAF American Dream (13.9 / 3.1 / 22.1 / 0.3) sold to Delphi Alpacas! Gorgeous fawn daughter out of Princess in 2018. We love what Patriot is doing! After waiting on his sire to step aside, Patriot's first two cria are finally here and are just what we expected. See American Dream and Brentano. Just like his sire and paternal brother Casimiro, Patriot has lingering fleece qualities and type. At 6 years old he still has very good fineness and nice crimp character in his entire fleece including neck and legs. We don't have histograms for Patriot becuase his early fleeces were damaged by our Great Pyrenees, broken pipes and another lost it's tag and we didn't want to guess...thus Patriot's EPD rankings will have to come from his ancestors and descendants. He's a head hunter's dream, very typey, large bone, soft and uniformly fine, very dense, complete coverage, correct conformation and movement, and a perfect bite. He also has a very nice temperament and is an efficient breeder. Patagonia's Compadre (Chilean), Peruvian Guellermo (Huarapina region) and Peruvian Andrajo (Alianza co-op) in his pedigree. Sire is our prepotent Constantino who won blues and purples for five years and has many regional and national award winning kids and grandkids. He's unrelated to all Accoyo bloodlines. We will be breeding Patriot (P. Guellermo/P. Andrajo/Patagonia's Compadre) some of our Snowmass RRoyal Fox offspring (Casanova / Bueno descendants) as these bloodlines bloodlines together have great synergy and are long proven to nick very well.

Top 25% for SDAFD and SF, 2018 EPDs. Spring 2019 Update - I sheared the herd myself this year and this male's fleece is still fabulous...fine, dense, bright, very crimpy and long. I switched to a 20 tooth comb and...botched it...the fleece laid down and so there were second cuts all over the place...my mistake. So it won't be entered in any fleece shows. Black from Peruvian Black Epic and Hannaruh (famous gray dam) lines and our "Future of the Industry" Constantino. This male is prepotent, contains no Accoyo lines and is looking better every year. We're going to start his breeding career this year! His first show: 2016 CABA - 1st place, very competitive class of 8; judge Arturo Pena. Peers in the class were sired by: Snowmass Sizlin Rose, Crescent Moon's Propel, .38 Midnight Special, Patagonia's Antonio, TAG Peruvian Bellagio and Rumm Runner. The very humid weather of the Pacific northwest kept "Trekker" with his silky fine fleece from going to the shows earlier in the year. Fortunately the weather for the CABA '16 show was just right and his fleece was showing its true characteristics that weekend. Fleece was described as "exquisite" by our good friend Lona Frank of ATV. Trekker's sire is our 17 YEAR OLD home-bred "FUTURE OF THE INDUSTRY" champion, CONSTANTINO. His 9 year old gray dam is our Black Epic's Journie. He hails from the bloodlines of P. Andrajo, Lanarks' Locota, 4P Black Magic, Aussie Rockford, Hannahruh. It was Tino and Journie's first mating and they nicked really well. Trekker's blanket fleece is very silky with high brightness, deep black color, highly crimped, very long and very uniformly fine with excellent drape and handle and has no medullation. It's the perfect fleece type needed for high quality worsted fabric. We'll be saving his first few fleeces to make into yarn. While he could be a little more dense that would likely shorten his amazing staple length. His unskirted cria blanket weighs 2 1/4 lbs., the same as his LF sire's cria fleece weight. He is unrelated to Hemingway and all Accoyo lines except Felix (Aussie Rockford). "Trekker" also has spot-on conformation and proportions, correct phenotype and presence with complete coverage. He has an agreeable disposition and a strong libido when it comes to the females. Halter training him took no effort. We will be making him available for limited outside breedings in 2017!

Dam: Mystic Meadows Peruvian Lady Monaco
By a champion Snowmass gray sire (AOBA composite, S. Loner) and out of a maroon blue ribbon dam (AWE, M. Safley). Paternal brother, Graphite - 1st Futurity 2012! Paternal sister, Reyna - 1st, Alpacapalooza 2012! "Marky" is covered nose to toes with "lingering" worsted quality fleece...overall uniform, ultra royal 14.5 micron fleece and nicely dense with zipper crimp from his forehead down his tail. His third fleece is one of the best on the farm and triple bundled...big bundles made up of several smaller bundles which are then made up of micro-bundles and it's difficult to distinguish the primaries among the secondaries. He has a smaller build and is lighter boned...common for very fine fleeced alpacas. We didn't take him to the shows because his cria fleece developed character slowly (like his dam), then his second fleece was too tender and his third fleece had a color change right in the middle of the staple from nearly black back to maroon. It's ok...we are now looking forward to finding out his ability to pass on his best to his future crias. Marquis and his full sis, Faith, have a full Peruvian pedigree that consists mostly of alpacas from the final and most stringent importations as well as the famous Alianza sire, P. Bueno. So, except for Bueno and Casanova, they are unrelated to most bloodlines. They are unrelated to all Accoyos and Hemingway.

Top15-17% AFD, SF 2018 EPDs. This is how you want your breeding males: correct, typey, robust and with an ultra royal fourth fleece with no guard hair...and maroon doesn't hurt either. Remy is will be 5 yrs. old in 2016 and he still has one amazingly uniformly fine fleece with little to no medullation (like his sire) and with one of the heaviest blanket weights on the farm. Farm Breeding Guarantee: Female / Jr. Herdsire Guarantee. Paternal brother, Graphite - 1st Futurity 2012! Paternal sister, Reyna - 1st Alpacapalooza 2012! His dam, sired by P. Guellermo, also produced award-winning offspring, mostly herdsires. Born with a little assistance at 11:11 a.m. on Sept. 11, 2011 (Nov. 11 is Armistice Day), weighing in at 23 pounds! Due to his robust size, his elbow got stuck on the dam's birth canal and I had to assist using a full length glove. First and hopefully last time I'll have to do that. He has P. Bueno (Alianza) and famous son Casanova and P. Guellermo (Huarapina) lines in his pedigree. Remy is unrelated to all Accoyo bloodlines. Outcross opportunity. Sire is the 2010 AOBA National Gray Male Composite Champion from Snowmass. Dam is a high quality, DSG own daughter of P. Guellermo (originally owned by Alpacas of America).

Bred 9/4/18. Excellent density and exceptional fleece character. Lots of Alianza in her pedigree. 2019: She still has nice aligned crimp from her topknot to the tip of her tail. Felecity inherited density and outstanding fleece character from both of her top quality parents. She also has very good staple length with that density. She has a richly cinnamon colored fleece and dark points. She has solid conformation, coverage from nose to toes and minimal visible guard hair. Felecity's farm name is "Chubs" because she keeps herself in very good body condition and she's so dense her fleece is completely closed, like a wall, making her look even more chubby. Felecity has excellent fleece architecture with that perfectly aligned crimp across the staple that grows out of the skin at an angle. All she needs is better fineness, so we bred her to Marquis! Very successful pedigree...in the shows and in production. Constantino - 5 years of blues and purples among top competition. Trufflina - 13 crias and beat P. Microsoft's fleece (2000,under judge Julie Skinner of Snowmass Alpacas) P. Andrajo - A white from Alianza import, famous NW sire behind hundreds of award winners. Great EPDs for this Constantino daugter... We love beautiful Doenutte and her super crimpy crias! Petite and sweet and her fiber is LINGERING! Some of our very best came from Constantino crossed with our Isabelle / Clarissa line. Doenutte's fleece is amazing. It just stays the same every year. When she was born she looked like a powdered sugar covered doughnut with her head, tail and feet dunked in coffee, thus her name. (Her tail color faded as she grew up.) Her awesome fleece is pure white from a fawn roan sire and a red pinto dam. Her soft fleece easily parts open and "pops" with well defined high definition crimp and high brightness. She has correct phenotype and conformation with her strong topline, deep chest, low tail set and straight legs which are completely covered with fleece. She was standing in ten minutes, then nursed up a storm and ran around the pastures all afternoon. Doenutte's famous pedigree includes: P. Black Magic, CP Black Hawk, P. Misty Maiden, P. Mimi Nova is a calm-natured, solid, robust female with a soft, uniform fleece. She has very correct conformation and a calm, sweet temperament. Mimi has black and gray genetics and all three major bloodlines from our herd, Andrajo and Bueno - both Alianzas, and Locota (our first herdsire). -AOBA Blue Ribbon full Peruvian non-fading TB sire from a striking MSG dam. -Alpacapalooza Reserve Champion dam from the Nova / Casanova / Peruvian Bueno bloodlines. Mimi arrived at 336 days gestation, 16 pounds, and gained a full pound a day. (She's grown up to be on the large side of average for an alpaca and has large bones and is very well conditioned.) That heavy lactation trait goes back at least to her granddam, our Trufflina. Mimi has sparse light fibers throughout her fleece, long staple, minimal guard hair, medium crimp and full leg coverage. (Note: her sire has thrown lots of dark solids, a couple DSG's (no known BEWs.) Mimi has perfect conformation, teeth to toes to tail. Royal is a lovely black female with correct conformation and a soft, bright, crimpy fleece. She has been bred twice and produced two nice, healthy crias, one black (Spirit, 2015) and one gray (Silver Shadow, 2016...royal fine fleece). She has an Alianza - Accoyo pedigree including Accoyo Royal Fawn and Peruvian Andrajo (Alianza). Royal's dam, Trufflina, was a blue ribbon fleece winner who beat Pacific Crest's P. Microsoft with Judge Julie Skinner at PNAA 2000. Trufflina also produced 13 crias with outstanding weight gain (up to 1 pound per day for the first 9 days) and high IgGs (3000s+) and...this line (P.. Her baby fine fleece has good density with high definition crimp from the front of her topknot to the tip of her tail, high brightness and a silky handle. She's has a gorgeous rich color that is nearly black and it fades to maroon (not brown). She has unique fleece coloring, similar to her grandsire, P. Orion. Exotique is a full sister to blue ribbon winner Christina who is one of our producers of top quality. Our home-bred 2004 Champion, Constantino, was 12 when he sired this beauty. Shasta placed third at both the 2021 CABA and AWE shows! She's the image of her sire (a FAWN ROAN) with strong fleece characteristics also from her dam who is one of our best producers. Extremely dense fleece with high frequency / high amplitude crimp, bright and very fine. Very solid pedigree: Navigator, Ulysses, Constantino, Black Hawk, Desert Sun. She has generations of champions deep in her pedigree and exhibits the best of her paternal and maternal lines, so we are confident that her crias will not disappoint. However...in my close to 30 years in alpacas this girl is the only one who will be happy to hard kick you into next week frequently, even not pregnant. The key is to stay well out of her rear kick zone. She gets along with the herd and is manageable on her front end for deworming, shots, shearing. Fall 2023 her fleece still looks great. April 2025...still getting more frosty. Gray / Appy / Pinto / Harleguin potential? She appeared to have a solid blanket, but after her 2023 shearing there are frosty spots on both sides of her blanket...moreso on the side with the pinto legs and going up the back of her nick to her topknot...very unigue to say the least! Her sire is gray and her dam got the pinto gene from the P. Misty Maiden (famous high seller) infusion...that's how she got the pinto /appy left legs. Moon Beam has a soft crimpy fleece and a nice, calm personality. Moon Beam came to be as the result of a storm and a couple males breaking into the female pasture, so you'll see some common relatives on her pedigree, including a double shot of the incredible Trufflina, the matriarch of our herd who produced CC and RC offspring...and they produced a couple of Judge's Choice winners with 6th and 7th year fleeces. Trufflina had 13 cria total and milked like a dairy cow putting one pound per day for the first nine days on her sixth cria (Carmelina). Moonbeam was born very late on a blustery day by the light of the moon, thus her name.

I also purchased and still own two of her maternal sisters, Mixie and Finale. Juliete: Full Peruvian and full Snowmass including Matrix + XXXtreme + Royal Bronze + Casanova and in the bottom right postions are Legacy Gold and Amberlight. Juliete is ranked top 5% to 12% in five 2024 EPD traits, but has yet to have her own data entered. Juliete has solid conformation, complete coverage, an alert presence and is the herd guardian. She's easy to manage, very smart and loves the crias. Her fleece is very dense with good fineness and organized crimp character. Her 2024 blanket (unskirted) weighs a full five pounds. Parents: She's out of Matrisia (17 years old and pregnant for 2024), a calm and stunning MF own Matrix daughter who is inside 2% for FW. I have two other Matrisia daughters...champion and gray producer Matrix Mix has an EPD FW of 0.3% and Titan's Finale (2nd @ 2 yrs) with seven EPDs in the top 5% to 15% and she produced a gray daughter also. Her 17 year old sire is my 2010 national composite champion Snowmass RRoyal Fox (MSG) who is at 2% AFD. Fox's progeny are intelligent, alert and calm, well built, have less guard hair than their dams and uniformly fine fleeces with dark saturated colors that need very little skirting. Both parents still breeding at 17 yrs. Service Sire: Bred 6/25/24 to super fleece producer NPA Jive Talkin' (aka J.T. - maroon) infusing the lineages of XXXtreme LegacyXXX, Paso Robles, Sizlin, Jeremiah, Black Magic, Matador and Dom Timbo. J.T. won four blues in four showings at 3 and 4 years old..."very uniform" per the judges. J.T.'s crias (TB, MB, MRG, MSG, maroon) are placing in the ribbons and all are typey with extremely fine, soft and bright, tightly crimped, very uniform and *lingering* fleeces. We've crossed other Fox descendants with J.T. and the fleeces are consistently amazing and everything hoped for from this tried and true pedigree combination. See Rocky Rose (MRG)...2nd at both 2024 CABA & AWE in his unshorn cria fleece and 3/4 related to Juliete's future cria. For her future breedings, go to "the Moon" and find a gray Adonnis descendant...from the lineage of P. Andrajo (an Alianza imported with Bueno and Hemingway) who started my herd 27 years ago and his lineage is still in my herd. Thank me later! ;>D Juilete's diet includes mostly pasture, orchard grass hay, Nutri Lux and Mazuri Alpaca supplements (both contain a little flax) and Stillwater 104.
