Katerina of La Vida Alpacas

I bought her back from La Vida...with her black daughter, Katerina. 2025: Fawn daughter by Shak. 2014: ARI EPD 1 % club!!! Thank you Gvido and Tina Bars, Stellar Alpacas (WA) for purchasing the stunning Kristiana. Lot 16 - 2013 AOBA Auction: Denver, CO - May 2013. 15/16ths Peruvian 10 full crimps per inch mid-side histogram sample 4/26/13. With her elite and lingering fleece qualities Kristiana is one of her sire's very best daughters so far. We're letting her go because she's related to most of the herd. She is the first offspring from her dam. She has a very typey head that will also linger and be passed on. Her sire, dam and grandparents are all very solid champion and blue ribbon winners and/or producers. 2013 fleece: skin to tip crimp at 10 crimps per inch mid-side; high definition crimp from ears, into apron, knees to tail; mostly pigmented gray fibers; minimal to no guard hair on belly and chest, leaving very little to be skirted from the blanket...runs in this family. She is refined and average sized with correct phenotype; a full muffin top topknot and complete fleece coverage (across belly and inside legs); and full, dense tail fleece. She stands straight and proud and is achieving excellent growth. She likes people and is calm and sweet. She is very precious to us and will be a hard one to let go. She has the blood of all our very best ever, most productive, best lactating and most highly decorated alpacas in her pedigree and it shows. She has a blue ribbon dam who is sired by our champion Constantino. Her sire is our AOBA composite champion Snowmass RRoyal Fox (MSG Casanova grandson sired by Snowmass RRoyal Bronze). And, we must not forget her amazing granddams...BOTH top-shelf blue ribbon winners AND outstanding producers, Lady Monaco and Trufflina. We are confident that Kristiana will benefit any gray program.
