Red Granites Shakira

Huacaya Open (Female) Medium Brown

AOA# 35241713 DOB: 8/17/20149 yrs
Red Granites Shakira is almost impossible to believe, a beautiful brown yearning out of Crescent Moon's Sassie and Kirwin. Shakira has extremely fine fleece; a 13.3 micron, making her one of our finest females produced. She has great density relative to that fineness. Extraordinary is an understatement. We just acquired Shak at the CABA - AWE show dinner auction. Bidding was competitive...Crescent Moon had two sons at the show and both championed. I just got a feeling it was the right thing to do and so now we'll have Shak crias hitting the ground in 2024.

Shak is a calm male with a gentle nature. He has sired multiple champion offspring and they display the whole package of excellence...type, conformation, density, consistent character, uniformity...did we say dense?...coverage and extreme uniform fineness...with good bites.

As of spring 2023, Shak has 22 AOA registered offspring with show placings as follows for second place or better: One placed second. Four received firsts. Two earned RCs and four earned CHs. So ten of his 22 offspring thus far, have placed first or better.

Sizzlin Shak is a paternal half brother to Red Granites' Val D Lsere.

Daughter, Woop De Doo, received female color championship at 2022 AOA.

Son, Paulinus, received male color championship at 2023 AOA.

Son, Anerobico, received male color championship and Judge's Choice at CABA.

Shak is available for limited breedings to approved females.

Shak will be standing at KCAF from early August 2023 to spring 2024.

Co-owned with friends who I am grateful for at La Finca Alpacas and Alpacas of Pachamama.
